Fallowfields held their first Pudding evening last night. I've been to pudding evenings before but not like this. We had slow roast pork belly with turned vegetables and a jus as a light main course then came the first pudding a caramel twirl on a concentrate fruit base with sherbert amazing.... then a small pot with a lid on chef shaun explained each pudding before we started and we took the lid of together to a whiff of smoked ice cream with chocolate - there was a mixed review of this one, then the best of the evening as far as we were concerned a triple chocolate layer with cocoa bean chocolate twirl, ice cream, and caramel tablet just sensational next we had a lemon curd lemon merinque with crystalised lemon in a glass which really danced on the taste buds...... finally a marmalade soufle with a toasted marmalade brioche with icecream on top. It was a real gourmet Pudding evening. Already looking forward to the next one
