Pat and Peter warmly welcomed us with a pot of tea upon our arrival. This is not a hotel but a Bed & Breakfast. Our room was quiet and we enjoyed the peace away from our hectic work. Peter prepares a huge English breakfast which was too large for my wife. This would be my only criticism - apart from waffles we were not offered a choice of boiled, poached or scrambled eggs and alternatives such as pancakes, crumpets, oatcakes, muffins etc would have been preferred some of the days.
We thought it wonderful just to walk a few hundred metres to the expansive, sand dune beach and the coastal footpath. The ancient port of Tenby is just a short drive away along with many historic sites such as Pembroke Castle, Manorbier castle, Carew Castle and Bosherston Lily ponds along with many other fine natural beaches.
Our quiet room had a large ensuite shower room and the window overlooked rolling hillsides.
