Our first impression was to turn the car around and go home due to what looked like an under-age bar behind the hotel. We decided to give it a chance but not sure we would go again.
The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us - the food was good and the portions generous.
The room was OK. Felt it wasn't worth what we paid. We were shocked when we found out the rooms had been refurbished as we felt ours was dated and a bit grubby in places.
The fire exit was through a bedroom and our room was connected to what appeared to be a communal toilet - we heard several people using the bathroom due to an inch wide gap in the connecting door.
All in all, a good effort but a long way to go.
