Arrived with a bad back after having travelled 7 hours on roads that needs maintenance. Impressed by the landcape, hotel lobby and the small bar . Staff were excellent in these area. Loved the theme of the hotel lobby : British Raj era.
Room was good and had excellent sleep, peaceful and undisturbed. Told good weather would garuntee view of the Himalayas. Not so lucky with the weather.
Disappointed with the restaurant, reminded of my school dining hall and service here needs improving, felt staff were always in great rush to complete service as soon as possible. Noisy kitchen staff. This area was a major let down, needs renovation and staff training. Not on par with the rest of the hotel.
However easily the best Hotel in the area.. could still be more better.
