Having visited Samui for the past 11 years we have experienced many of the wonderful restaurants on the island across a whole spectrum of categories, with and without our children. The BBC however excels on many levels, as not only does is sit opposite the Island’s most famous ‘golden’ inhabitant which affords the diner with spectacular views across Bang Rak Bay of the memorising sunsets, the food and service compliment the setting, to provide an excellent dining experience.
The menu is extensive enough to cater for any ‘fussy’ diners, with both local cuisine and international cuisine included. You have ample to choose from, no matter what your budget. There is a very welcoming atmosphere from the owner, his family and staff. LCD Tv’s are located sufficiently around the open air restaurant to provide an enjoyable back drop of light music, plus allowing for kids to cosy up on one of the sofas to watch their favourite film/cartoon, whilst any sports fans aren’t to be disappointed as well. This is not ‘in your face’ entertainment; a quiet romantic meal is still to be had.
The ‘facilities’ are spotless and would shame many a hotel. This is a must visit restaurant whilst you are on the island. We used it numerous times during our three weeks and every occasion was faultless. Enjoy!
