“Best dining experience in Samui”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 September 2011

This place has it all -gorgeous views, wonderful sea breezes while you watch the sunset, great service and then the best Thai food we have eaten since arriving in Samui.
We read about BBC in a local paper today and thort we would give it a whirl. First of all from the minute we entered, the service was friendly and first class... they were very attentive. We ordered the Lemongrass Prawns which were sensational. I think this is the best Thai dish I have ever tasted and that is quite a statement coming from someone who has lived in Thailand. We also had a green curry and a stir fry pork dish both of which were great. This is the best Thai restaurant I have ever eaten at and we plan to go back agin before we leave to try out a few more dishes. They also have all day happy hour and an extensive western menu featuring a few kiwi inspired dishes. Prices are good. This is one place you should not miss

“Lovely views and good food.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 September 2011

We had both a lunch and a dinner here and both were good. The views from the restaurant are fantastic and there's direct access onto a little beach which the children enjoyed.

For lunch we ate western food - delicious club sandwiches, burgers and ham & chips!!

In the evening the children still ate western food but we had seafood and Thai food. The stir fried tiger prawns were in a delicious sauce which I tried to get the recipe for! The Thai food was also good.

“Fantastic location, lovely staff, amazing cocktails and food!”

We visited based onnboth having seen the venue in passing and read the reviews on Tripadvisor.
The food is incredibly good and there is a good mix of European and Thai, both of which are excellent.
My partner ordered one of the cocktails in a coconut and it was so good we've been back again on the basis of that cocktail!
Service was friendly and efficient and the staff are experienced enough to know when to leave you alone and when to come check on you.

“Great venue. Not fine dining but highly recommended”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 August 2011

We visit Koh Samui every year in the June /July period . We are sports fans and this is the time of year when Super 15 rugby is in full flow so we always look for a restaurant/pub with the various sports channels. For the last 2 years we have been regular visitors to The Big Budha Cafe (The BBC) which is close to Fishermans village. The location is fantastic, the food is good and reasonably priced, the staff is excellent and the owners Mark (a New Zealander) and his wife are very helpful and arrange whatever sporting channel we ask for.
