We spent two nights in this Parador. It is close to Vitoria (15 km) by car. You need a car, because it is located in a tiny residential town with no services (bar, supermarket, nothing). So, you must take the breakfast when you book. Breakfast is superb.
The building has been refurbished recently and rooms are brandy new and full equipped. Views are nice as it is placed in a hillside. As mentioned, if you have a car you can spend a half day visiting Vitoria and its two cathedrals or driving to Bilbao and then come back for sleep. It has some facilities for children (park with swings and seesaws)
