After researching fine dining restaurants on TripAdvisor our first booking was at Mom Tri's Kitchen at Villa Royale.
My husband and I got there in time to enjoy happy hour and watch the sunset.
Our table was on the lower outdoor level. I had trouble reading the menu by the candle light provided. However, they promptly provided me with a torch.
We had 3 courses and excluding drinks, tip, and taxes the cost was around 2700 baht or AUD 90.
The let down was the Phuket Tuna Nicoise. The tuna was overcooked and dry - a real shame since this was the hero of the dish. However the dessert of Absolute Chocolate was amazing!
Again, when we completed our meal and I was given a beautiful long stemmed rose, we asked for a taxi and they availed their courtesy car.
