We stayed in one of the cabins at Zion Lodge for an overnight on the way to Arizona and wished we had booked for longer. The setting is idyllic in the heart of the red canyons - very peaceful and beautiful. Bird and animal life all around - even deer peacefully grazing nearby.
The cabins were basic but clean and comfortable with all essentials. The highlight was an electrically operated log fire in the cabin which made it very warm and cozy on a cool evening. The cabins are all situated within a short stroll to the main lodge where there is a shop, restaurant, and main reception. On certain evening the guides from the National Park give very informative talks about the Zion Park area. A shuttle bus runs regularly into the canyons stopping at various points for walkers.
A pleasant surprise was the excellence of the food in the restaurant. A good choice from the menu and beautifully prepared and presented meals for a reasonable price. Both dinner and breakfast were first class.
All staff were very helpful and friendly and we shall certainly return again - next time for longer.

“beautiflul view”

We loved staying right inside the park. The views were spectacular. The shuttle picked us up right outside of lodge and took us to various locations in the park. The suite we had was nice size but the hide-away bed we had was a disaster to sleep on. The room was supposed to be energy ,water efficient but on the toilet you had to flush it with the 6 liter flush at least 2 times to clear the water. Would have been nice to have a small microwave and coffee pot in room. There are no tv's in these rooms but we found plenty to keep us busy. The family enjoyed the ranger program at night in the lodge. The lodge is very comfortable and everyone is friendly. We really had good meals in the lodge restaraunt and the prices were reasonable. If you want convienance and a beautiful surrounding this is the place to stay at.

had pre booked for 2 nights: 2 adults 2 children 12 and 10
arrived at Zion lodge on the Sat of memorial weekend
checked in with no problem
Put in a first floor (not ground floor room) with view of cliffs at back. Happy with that view but would have been happy with front view too of green and cliffs
Ate 2 breakfasts in Lodge: best of holiday with lots of fruit
Had an evening meal out on restaurant verandah: beautiful views and wonderful food and service

no complaints at all

Stayed one night at what was described as a cabin at Zion lodge. The cabin we stayed in was just a small room connected to another room (cabin). We had no privacy, no kitchen facilities, and no space. The lodge and surrounding area is beautiful. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I would recommend to just stay in one of the lodge rooms, and nix the cabins.

“Loved Zion NP and the cabin!”

Zion NP was the highlight of our trip to the US. We visited the west coast in Nov and spent just one night in a cabin (would have liked to stay one more night). Nov was a perfect time to visit, the fall leaves were very pretty and with very few visitors it was a romantic, peaceful and relaxing visit.
I highly recommend the cabins (within the Park) . Directly across is the emerald pools walk, as I said lovely in fall with the leaves. There is no TV in the cabins , but we found this to be a bonus. Instead, my husband and I enjoyed a beautiful meal at the Lodge and then laid back listing to some country music in front of the gas log fire!
