We had a wonderful time at Paradise Cove. It's quiet, clean, and spacious. The staff are friendly and professional. The property is beautifully landscaped. Before we arrived I faxed a grocery list and they had everything in place when we arrived. We rented a car and the resort handled all of the arrangements for us. They provided us with an umbrella, beach chairs, and snorkel gear for the entire week. If you prefer fine dining, picture-perfect white beaches, and quiet...Anguilla is for you.

I've never written a review before, but I felt compelled to do so. I visited Anguilla for a wedding November 06 and I probably should have done more research. Anguilla is beautiful and wonderful, but terribly expensive and I found that out quickly. I was happy to find that I had chosen the right hotel. Paradise Cove has a great offer. People who complained about it not being on the beach should pay more than double the price and actually stay in one of the big 3 resorts on the beach. Paradise Cove is only a short drive (less than 2 minutes) away and if you are going to Anguilla you REALLY need to rent a car anyway. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, attractive and huge. The best part is the staff. The ladies who greated us each day were wonderful. They helped us arrange spa services at a nearby resort and to my surprise even tracked us down at a local restaurant when we had an urgent message. Can you believe my surprise when the waitress said I had a phone call? The people of Anguilla are truly some of the most sincere you will ever meet and the people at Paradise Cove are their best. Thanks to Tina for helping me find my way to Bananas on the Beach.

My wife and I stayed at Paradise Cove in March 2006. I must say that it is a hidden gem and the price is just right (when you compare it to the other hotels on the island). The hotel location is not on the beach. But don't let that dissuade you. A short walk up the street and you are on one of the finest beaches in the Caribbean (in fact, across the channel you can see the French side of St Marten. Plus, a great local restaurant called Smokies is on the beach as well). And the hotel can provide you (free) with beach chairs and umbrellas to take with you. The hotel itself is beautiful. The rooms are spacious and the pool (with 2 Jacuzzi’s) is Olympic size. The days we chose to stay by the pool, we were the only ones there! The management and staff were friendly and eager to help you navigate the island. An added bonus is that there is a championship golf course bordering Paradise Cove (which I think will be open in 2007). And seeing that the hotel is reasonably priced, you will more apt to venture out and discover all the other beautiful beaches on Anguilla (versus if you pay the $$$$$ for the CuisinArt or Cap Juluca, you probably won’t be leavin’ there!). We will be returning guests to the Paradise Cove.

My wife and I just returned from a 7 night stay at Paradise Cove. During our last trip to Anguilla we stayed at Cuisinart (probably top 3 in Anguilla), so our expectations were a bit high. After an initial let down with the room feeling a bit sterile, lacking real character (and smelling a bit like cigarette smoke), we later grew to really enjoy our stay at Paradise Cove. The management was very responsive and had our room essentially deodorized (after apologizing - all rooms are nonsmoking). And in general, the management was extremely helpful, be it arranging day outings, restaurant reservations, car rentals, etc. And as the week went on, we found that our room/lodging was more than adequate, was clean, quiet and fit all of our needs. While it's fun to stay at a resort like Cap Jaluca, etc, Anguilla is definitely an island on which it's all about leaving your hotel and exploring the great beaches and hidden restaurant treasures. In the end, we would recommend Paradise Cove to anyone who doesn't "need" to stay at a 5 star resort - it's above average and really meets most needs without any major shortcomings for what it is trying to be. And it is extremely affordable for what can be such an expensive island.

“Thrilled with the Paradise Cover Resort”

Paradise Cove Resort

The Paradise Cove Resort is a delight. We just returned from a 6 night stay and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Our room was a beautifully appointed studio complete with a small, well equiped kitchen. The refrigerator was particular welcome for storing and cooling drinks and breakfast. The pool and grounds were attractive and very well kept. We enjoyed the relative peace and quiet. The resort seemed to appeal to couples over families with children.

As with all popular beach destinations, Anguilla has its share of construction. The only negative on our vacation was the noise coming from a development about 1/4 mile from the resort. This was no fault of the Paradise Cove Resort but we mention it just the same for those looking for absolute quiet. To us the noise was a background distraction, but not a show stopper.

A rental car is recommended since all but one restaurant (Smokey's, which is very good), is more than a walk away. The beach is a short walk and very beautiful. All and all this is a great property and we will definitely return next year.
