Went over for a wedding and stayed in a villa here with friends for the second week. Stayed in a royla villa, was fantastic, rooms were spacious and bathrooms finished to a high standard, terrace pool area had the sun all day and a beutiful view of the sea. My friends had taken a package to have a full time housekeeper and Chef, the food was fantastic and i came home without any washing!!! We had a buggy to drive around the estate and a hire car which is a must as it is quite secluded. The gym was good but no airconditioning so very hot!

All in all a fantastic place to stay, i would highly reccomend it!

This place is great !
We traveled with another couple and enjoyed a 3 bedroom villa that was outstanding!

Golf ; Pool; Beach (shuttle) Spa; Gym; Maid Service.

This is a wondeful high end property (5 star) that surley will not disappoint.

We will go back and I must say the essence of Royal Westmoreland will remain for those of us that , "GET IT".

The resturants are world class in the area (THE CLIFF) and very accessable by cab. We did not rent a car and that worked well for the four of us.We did rent a golf cart for the week and that allowed transportation between the golf course and the gym.

The web site is accurate check it out.
As very fequent travellers this is a five star tumbs up!
Regards
JC

We stayed in Cassia Heights at RW last week. I went with my partner, my brother and his partner. Our villa was stunning and we were very well looked after by our house keeper.
Royal Westmoreland itself is lovely and a perfect (quiet and peaceful) place to come back to every day after the hustle and bustle of the rest of the island.
RW had it's own area of the beach at Colony Club which was excellent. The beach is finally growing in size again after being ruined a few years ago. We even saw Michael Vaughan there last Thursday!
I could sit here all day and write about RW and how beautiful it is, but I'm sure everyone knows that already.
If I had to pick anything negative about staying at RW it would be that it's not on the beach and doesn't have an evening restaurant. Personally it didn't bother me that we weren't right on the beach (as it's much quiter at RW) and there are so many good restaurants on the west coast that we eat out every night quite happily. Our best meal was probably at The Tides which was superb.

I would definitely stay there again.

Rented Royal Villa end July/August 07 . Fantastic accommodation, location etc . Negotiated some rounds of golf within price. The Royal Villas are newer and better than some of the slightly older and smaller accomodation. Villa private pools not large but more than a plunge pool and serve the purpose. There are bigger communal pools which nobody uses!

Maid service superb but does depend on who you get . Totally safe very friendly and outstanding service. No resturant in the evening at the club so you need to go out .

You need car hire -book this direct and collect from airport or if you have loads of stuff ( eg golf clubs) the club will sort out local taxis at sensible price to/from airport and get hire car delivered to the villa . Buggy hire good fun ,particularly allowing under 21s to get about around the site.

Holetown great resort/centre. Beach at Colony Club good but not the absolute best and beach furniture a bit tired. But that's being picky.

Go watersking with Ron Griffith-he's the best -don't use the beach hotel's water sports

Book early and direct with the club and book flights early and it is very good value for the high quality provided.

Weather good, inevitably some rain every day and a few cloudy days but that's what you get in the tropics in August. We still all came back tanned and it is infinitely preferable to 35C in Southern Spain!

Excellent 2 week stay at a 3 bed Villa (Cassia Heights 22), great accomodation, with fantastic daily house keeping service (thanks Jacqui). Well appointed, ideal for families that don't want to experience the islands expensive restaurants every night.
Air Con bedrooms a real delight.
Accomodation includes use of all Royal Westmoreland facilities, Pool, Spa, Gym, Golf, Tennis, Pool access at Colony Club.
As a villa renter you get reduced golf rates at this great R.Trent Jones Jr designed course. (US$105 per round, inc cart)
Golf at Sandy Lane Country Club US$185 per round, when compared to The Green Monkey US$2000 per round, a real bargain.
Well located for Holetown 2k, supermarket and great restaurants.
Would throughly recomend, will definitely be going back.
