We spent almost 2 weeks at the BelMar in June 2002 and never had a complaint. The apartment was more than adequate for our needs. The staff at the dive shop were professional and helpful. The housekeeping staff did everything promised. The house reef was not as pristine as we would have liked but the damage from hurricane Lenny was still evident although healing nicely. Going back in June 2004 and looking forward to being back at BelMar, hoping the reef has improved but if not the diving in Bonaire is great.

I have been to seven islands in the Carribean and have stayed at three places on Bonaire, and the Belmar by far is the most freindly, comforatable and accomidating place I have ever stayed. The people their will do everything they can to assist you, the location is in a terrific spot for excellant shore diving, the tanks and wash basins are easy access for loading and unloading for your next dive and the diving directly at the Belmar is superb. My stay at the Belmar was the most relaxing stay and the rounded off the best dive vacation I have ever had.
