Eden Beach is a nice beach front property with few frills, but everything you could possibly need. We found the staff helpful, the informal location what we were looking for. Wannadive (thanks Andy and all) on site could not have been more helpful, with some great diving off the 400M sandy beach with its own pier. My sister was staying on her yacht, moored a few hundred yards down, and we were made to feel welcome when her dinghy was moored of their pier. The food and wine in the restaurant were superb, with very friendly and attentive staff. The A/C worked well and sunsets from the room or small bar were amazing. For a sensible budget we really enjoyed our stay here.

First off I'd like to say that I had a particularly hard time picking out a place from the absolute sea of choices seemingly available, no pun intended. I was attracted to this resort based on the premise of a 400-foot long private beach/pier (which is definitely true) and a webcam they offer looking out into the water.

We checked in late night and were promptly and greeted in a friendly matter. The room was in excellent condition with a; it was a studio so it had a reasonably furnished kitchen that was separated from the rest of the room by an actual door. King bed was huge. AC worked flawlessly and no bugs to speak of. And the balcony in the back had a perfect view of the property, the beach, pier, Klein Bonaire, and of course the blue water.

You can really snorkel right off the pier, with an abundance of parrot and all sorts of other nice fish. There is a dive shop right there where they loaned us snorkles for free, and kayak's were only $20 for the whole afternoon. There are 2 restaurants right on the property, both reasonably priced and pretty good in quality for breakfast and dinners. One day, we went deep sea fishing and came back with a freshly caught tuna fish; the chef at Brisa Del Mar happily took, seasoned, and grilled it for us free of charge. He only "charged" us for the fries as a side item that came with it.

Highly, highly, recommended. It may be more expensive that other options available, but well worth it in my opinion!

Stayed for 2 weeks at the Eden Beach resort for our honeymoon. The location is great. It has a small beach, 2 restaurants and Wannadive on site. We choose Eden Beach as we wanted to dive with Wannadive. Accommodation is basic, but clean. As there is so much to do in Bonaire you don't need much more. The packages they offer are good value for money and include dive, gym, breakfast and car hire.

  • Liked — Close to best dive company

Bonaire is great, Wanadive is great, the people at the Bongo's Bar are great, but the Eden Beach Resort people are grumpy and unfriendly. One apparently should be gratefull to stay there. The manager refuses to greet even after a loud and clear "good afternoon" The staff refuses to speak english or dutch and we even waited for a few hours to get in our rooms after arriving at 5 in the morning due to the fact that there simply was no staff available and the repectiondesk was closed.
Nasty people at Eden Beach. I will never go back there.

A bit expensive but very convenient

I had a very enjoyable stay at Eden Beach Resort. I thought that this hotel was a little bit on the expensive side but worth it for the convenience. My 2nd floor room (3rd floor in the US) must have been refurbished because it didn't look like their website pictures or the other pics on TripAdvisor. I think it is so great to be able to step out of your room, stroll down the walkway, and jump right into the water. Great view from the balcony (see pic for a layout of the property). I had no problems with mosquitoes in the room maybe because there was a flyswatter in the kitchen. Even though I had to see the Front Desk Reception more often than I wanted to, they were always friendly and promptly took care of any of my minor issues. WannaDive's Activity Center had no activities to do because of low bookings. Not sure why since it was high-season. Their dive shop was always busy though.
