In all the years I have been coming to the island of Bonaire, I really fell in love with the way that Matthieu and Laetitia created this Beautiful Dutch Colonial Bonairian Place. It really embellishes the whole street. Every detail is thought of. They are extremely friendly and helpful and I can recommend everybody to book an appartment at Blachikoko.
Just around the corner there is a little beach and in 10 minutes you are at the main Street where one can explore Bonaire's Day and Night Life. They know every dive site on the island and can help you plan your whole vacation, every recommendation that they gave us was excellent. They talked me into Kite surfing, which is absolutely fabulous

We stayed for a week with Mathieu and Laetitia in the big apartment on the top floor of the house. It was absolutely perfect. They are delightful hosts, really helpful and friendly and the apartments felt like home instantly. Laetitia picked us up from the airport and they both dropped us off on the way home, even lent us a coolbox for our pack up when we went to the national park.

There is a lovely little beach behind the house where we snorkelled and had the place to ourselves. Breakfast was spent on the terrace watching the iguanas sunning themselves in the trees. A 10 minute walk along the road a bit and then the seafront takes you into town with all the lovely restaurants.

We can't recommend Blachi Koko highly enough and will go back again.

My husband and I decided to try out scuba diving and picked Bonaire as our first scuba destination. I found Blachi Koko online, and it looked wonderful, but had just opened for business. With a little hesitation, I booked it. When we arrived at 6am on Saturday morning, we were soon reassured we had made a good choice. Matthieu and Laetitia met us at the airport, recommended a very good dive shop, answered our many questions about Bonaire, and gave very good recommendations/advice every time. We stayed in one of the one bedroom apartments. It was lovely - nicely decorated in a classy but colorful style, very clean, everything you need for a comfortable stay. The property is very well maintained, with nice landscaping and and outdoor patio for you to enjoy the evening breeze on. Close to the water, close to downtown and restaurants. Would be back in a heartbeat, if only I didn't have to work for a living.
