My fiance and I stayed here for one week. Both the hotel and the room were very nice. It was a rich, traditional decor. The king bed was two singles, pushed together.
The service was inconsistent and you weren't sure what to expect each day for towels or breakfast. Below-average service seemed to be the theme for the whole island, so I would call the service average for the area. The included breakfast was less than you would expect at a continental, so expect to purchase a breakfast here or somewhere else. When we tried to order breakfast here, they weren't able to make either of our selections, french toast and banana pancakes. We found this type of thing common at other restaurants on the island, too.
The hotel was protected by a security guard, which is comforting when you are surrounded by third-world country. There were a few regular bums that would pester you in Roseau, so it was nice to have the guard there at the hotel if they made you uncomfortable.
There are only a few hotels that I would consider if I returned and this is one of them.
