Got basic accomodations for $45. This included a clean room with white walls, towels, and a small bed. No TV, or any other high ticket items. We stayed here for 1 night to explore Portsmouth, before moving onto Roseau to stay at the Fort Young.
The restaurant is OK for the food, rude staff, very passive-aggressive service.
Ide recommend eating at the Subway Restaurant, which is at a local medical school called Ross University. It's an American school with rejects from the U.S. The campus is a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
We thought we'de try local food for one night instead of eating at the Subway, but regretted this when we found mosquitos in the hummus at one of teh local restaurants. Tasty!
