We stayed one night in Feburary and this was enough. The basic room ran about $100 and you had to sleep in a loft reached only by a very steep stairs. The room wasn't as clean as it could be and was definitely overpriced. The nicest feature was the patio area where you could eat a meagre free breakfast that comes wity the room. My travel mates had to upgrade since one of them couldn't ascend the stairs, which reminded them more of a ship's ladder than a real staircase. Just down the street (Ave. Padre Billini) from Don Elvira's is a brand new boutique hotel, situated in an old building. The nine rooms go far considerably less than Dona Elvira's and are very comfortable. Next time we will definitely stay there, It's the Suite Colonial, [--]
