We traveled to Lifestyle Crown Villas in June 2008 through a RCI exchange, and next time will use a owner, we met some while there and, found out its much cheaper and you get some extras also. We stayed in a three bedroom villa
The resort is beautiful. a few villas are on the beach, but not many the villa we stayed in as most are on small hillsides we could see the ocean from the upstaire balcony as well as the mountains, so the scenery was quite nice. The villa was very nice, not perfect but really nice. Ousdide villa was like a tropical garden with your own private pool which was cleaned every day, I have read others didnt like people coming in and out of the villa during the day but in order to keep the grounds and pool and villa clean it takes several different people to do it. In the mourning the maid comes in at what ever time you arrange for her to cook you breakfast, then a guy stops by the patio around 9:30 to deliver news paper he just sits it on the patio, not long after that the pool guy comes by and cleans pool, then in the afternoon the beverage guy stops by to stock refrig with drinks, We were in and out alot and the maid seemed to try to stay out of our way. The villa was kept very clean. It had a few problems with patio doors sticking a little but its a beach resort and I figure thats gonna happen.
As far as food, the VIP gourmet is the best as others have stated, the buffet is desent, Its not like in the USA what we were use to but i never got sick and tried alot of different things its kinda like a buffet on a cruise ship.
We took lots of tours , The monster truck trip was absolutely great it last most all day so you need to wear a bathing suit and a tee shirt , and bring a hat to shade your head. we also went scuba diving which was a pretty good dive, I say pretty good because after diving in Belize last year I got spoiled. Ocean World was Very nice its just the right size park to really enjoy your day there, again bring a bathing suit because you will want to swim there they have a free snorkle reef and water falls to cool off in, and you can swim next to the dolphin area Its very nice. The ladies spent one half day in the spa an loved it. The parties they throw were great fun also.
If you have any questions about this place I can try to answer them, We intend to go back for another week next year, but will rent through a owner. This place is not perfect but no place really is, Where else are you going to get to stay in a private villa with your own swimming pool for about the price a cruise
