After 20 yrs, this was my first time back and my God... I am so glad that I stayed there. This place was the highlight of my trip and I stil miss the food " poisson gros sel" , the best that I have ever had. The beach was really blue!!! Kaliko's rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. I loved the bungaloo idea and the bar was refreshing. This is the Haiti that I want to remember and I am so glad that I went. I can't wait to go back.

Kaliko is beautiful! Modern and fashionable buildings have decorative moats, pools, and bungalows. The beach area has shade and a choice of either a protected bay or wave-beating open surf. The meals are upscale for Haiti even if they repeat rice and fries in most menus. Security is excellent and the staff is accomodating. They even have high-speed internet available. Missionary groups or romantic couple alike will enjoy the setting.

What a wonderful experience! I've been going to Haiti for the past 10 years, and this was my first time staying at Kaliko Beach. I loved it! I've been there for a day trip, but this time we stayed for a week. The staff was awesome. They treated us so well, and we were there during Hurricane Alpha. The staff went above & beyond their realm of responsibility to ensure that we were taken care of. I travel to Haiti every year doing missionary work, and I love the Haitian people. So kind and compassionate. I will definitely return to Kaliko during my visits to Haiti. God bless!

i went to Haitit with my family and spent a day at Kaliko, that day was the best day of my life. I was born in Haiti and never knew if there was such a place in Haiti. The atmosphere and the service were great. all i have to say is that if someone had drop me there with my eyes close and later tell me that im in Haiti, i would have never believe it, because they always showing the bad places in Haiti. i cant wait to go back
