We visited Greenwood Great House in December. The road to get there is atrocious, but the views from the top are phenomenal! This place has to have one of, if not the best collection of historical antiques found in Jamaica. Great furniture, bottles, music machines and book collection (amongst other things). It was well worth the visit.
The price I found to be quite high however, and the female owner was less than welcoming to the greathouse, in fact, I felt as if we were being "stared down" whenever we ere in her presence which wasn't a great feeling. Our tour guide was quite nice and had a great knowledge of the place, but the "tour guide in training" actually gave a clearer explanation (meaning you could understand her speaking better) of everything (our reg tour guide when speaking normally was easy to understand, but while giving the tour she got very sing-songy and it was much harder to understand because her volume got much lower with the sing-songiness).
