We had a wonderful overall stay! The food was excellent and everyone at the hotel was so helpful and friendly. Captain Kirk was by far the best! I was not aware of the island across from the hotel, but decided to try it out anyway. What an experience!
The rooms were clean, and the bars and restaurants were phenomenal everyone around the hotel. You did not have to ever set foot outside of the hotel, and you could have paradise!!!

The jacuzzis were not working at all the entire time we were there, which was five days. That was the biggest let down, because everyday we went and tried to get in one but they were sooooo cold!

I would definitely go back!

Many of the previous reviews about this property were pretty dead-on accurate. Our room was the Deluxe Ocean Front, it was relatively clean. But our bath tub had a permanent pretty bad stain. The beach was small and we found many seaweeds on the shore. Wave on the water was pretty strong as it was almost always pretty windy.

Now, having said all the above, the service we received was truly outstanding and made the world of difference!!! Every single person from front desk to restaurant staff always made sure that you had a good time. They will try their best to meet your requests. To me this was truly outstanding, especially given the fact that they knew not to expect tips from the guest but still went above and beyond to make sure the guests were enjoying themselves.

We did the Couples Secret Rendezvous, but I did want to stay in this resort because it offered the most activities comparing to the other Couples resorts, even other all-inclusive resorts. We really enjoyed the horseback riding although the drive up there was horrible. The guides at the White River Valley where we went horseback riding were also outstanding.

Catamaran cruise was also a must! We had so much fun and I just had to download the "Big Bamboo" song as soon as we arrived back in the U.S. :)

We bought some souvenirs from the craft market across the street from the resort. At first they were pretty aggressive but after coming back the second time, they remembered us and were actually very friendly.

We had no problem with choosing the activities and restaurants on the time that we requested. We pretty much got everything we wanted. Food was very good. I love their papayas!!! The grill was also awesome.

Immigration coming to Jamaica was painful as it took us 30mins to wait in line. Once we picked up our bags, we waited at the Couples lounge and had some Red Stripes while we waited for the driver. We had 2 suitcases for both of us so no need to deal with the porter.

I hope with the renovation this summer, they made improvements to their older rooms. Because once they do that, their resort will be the absolute best experience for a relaxing vacation!!!

Very nice place but hard to get to. We took a shuttle from the airport to the hotel which took almost two hours. Bumpy and curvy. The driver was great and even stoped so my wife and I could use the restroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was okay and some of the meats were spicy. I really loved the Jamaican beer. My wife and I went shopping near by just watch for the drug pushers. They were always trying to sell us a joint or two. We also went for a horseback ride in the mountain that was very beautiful and I learned alot about their culture. This resort also has a little island in front of the resort that is all nude. My wife and I were going to go but never did. Im a little shy. The night life was entertaining and also relaxing. We had a good time.

It really would be difficult NOT to have a great time at COR. It is a very beautiful, well-appointed resort right on the beach!!! The Carribean food is delicious and abundant and the rooms are clean and vibrant.
Here is a short list of the best and possibly worst about COR:
Best
1) ITs in Jamaica -everything is no problem man (including the ganja)
2) Very friendly and fun staff- everyone is having a good time here
3) Authentic Carribean food served at the main buffet plus many other options at the three other restaurants
4) Beautiful rooms- our deluxe ocean room suite was 2 metres from the ocean
5) Small intimate feel- very romantic
6) REGGAE played at all times
7) Lots of fun activities, including Tower Island for the adventurist type

Worst
1) Small beach- nice and close to heavenly food and drink, BUT no strolls on the beach its closed of by peer and rock
2) Late Night entertainment- after the band stops at 11pm there is nothing but the piano bar (small, indoor bar for drunk singing)
3) If the weather is bad the beach isn't combed and is full of gargabe washed in from the tide (I pitied the visitors who arrived on a bad day, it was like a different world)
I was able to think of a few disadvantages but I wouldn't be discouraged; on a sunny day the place is pure heaven!!
