Recently stayed at foote prints for a week as part of a cheap airtours deal.

The Hotel is very basic but is fairly clean and tidy, they have made some effort by re tiling the bathrooms and giving it a lick of paint.

The rooms have AC and tv which is great and safety deposit boxes are in the room.

The location is great, right on the beach, its about a 10 or 15 minute walk along the beach to the larger bars (alfreds, risky business etc)

If you are looking for a luxury hotel this is definately not the place for you but for a cheap break its great!

Footeprints is a lovely little hotel right on the beach.
Came across a couple of baby stingrays which scared the life out of me and a few other guests! but as soon as they saw movement they were off!

The staff were very nice and would always stop for a chat or to answer any questions you may have.
Security is always present at the front gate. There is a jacuzzi above the hotel bar/restaurant and there is also a nail and massage place within the grounds although i found it cheaper to get my nails done at a place next to the hi lo supermarket and they did a brilliant job.

The room we had was quite small but we didnt mind this as we didnt spend much time in it.

The hotel is on a quietish stretch of beach which was nice and across the road there is a small shop and a restaurant which are very reasonable. We ate at the resaurant quite alot.

All in all a nice place to stay and a good location, in fact we are booked to go back again in September!

Came to Foote Prints after changing hotels in Negril. Foote Prints is lovely. Nice large rooms, air conditioning, satellite tv, located directly on the beach. Good restaurant with a large menu (service a bit slow at times). Weekly bbq. Wonderful cocktails!

this hotel was quite nice considering the price. my sister and i arrived on the 14th jan 07 and we were nicely welcomed by the reception team and a guy called michael. we were not too impressed with our original room but after a quick word we were moved to somewhere more suitable to our needs. the best feature about this hotel is that it is on the beach and the bar/ retaurant makes you feel your practically eating in the sea because it so close and has a view to kill. our room was clean and tidy with a/c and cable tv which worked fine and all staff were cool. the food and drinks were nice and not too expensive, i recomend a pina colada for all cocktail lovers. there is a shop on sight and a cheap but appetizing restaurant accross the road next to a grocery, store trust me this place comes in handy when the purse starts to dry up. overall this was a nice decent place to stay and hopefully we'll be back soon
