We spent 4 days at Coral Seas Cliffs back in the spring. It is your run of the mill budget hotel like several others in Negril. We had a lower level room (2nd level has more of a breeze) with two double beds and a kitchenette. The kitchenette was great for the frig, but other than that we rarely used it. However if you do find you forgot something the staff chef is happy to let you borrow whatever you need. The food was your normal AI type of stuff, but you could order off any menu all times of the day. All the staff was very friendly. The maid service was wonderful and she provided us with fresh flowers each day. The cliff location is quiet though. You will probably feel like you are the only ones there. A few locals hang out after work, but the TV was off by 9pm and the bar closed. There is one access ladder to the ocean. We snorkeled, but we saw several schools of jellyfish and decided to stick with the pool. That could have just been the time of day we went out. There is a local named Karl who sells fresh roasted coffee. Buy some, its good. There are several places to eat very close by and a small convenience store. If you are morning person, walk up the cliffs to the lighthouse. The road is less congested the further up you go. Coral Seas if not a busy hotel so I would suggest this place to small groups of friends who just want to hang out together or a traveler who is looking for peace and quiet.
