Summerset Village is a good value for money hotel, the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The staff are friendly and eager to help if you need.
The hotel is situated in a good location, close to the shops and the beautiful 7 mile beach. There is also a shuttle bus which runs daily to the beach.

I’ve stayed at many hotels in Negril and would definitely intend to stay here again and recommend Somerset Village to anyone looking for good value for money hotel, (Vanessa, London)

I loved this place. I was fortunate to have one of the single-story octagon houses with a large kitchen. This house always felt the night breezes as there are windows in all directions. I loved having my coffee in the mornings on my own little veranda while watching for interesting bird life in the garden. The restaurant serves excellent local fare. The neighborhood is friendly and I was able to find most everything I needed within walking distance.

I wish I were there now!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Summerset. We loved the huts with the full kitchen. Saved us tons of money on food. Did shopping 1st day and barely had to spend on food again! The grounds are really nice with lime trees everywhere. We loved the street it is on...nice for walking and we felt very safe there. The management got us what we needed. It felt great being away from the crowds and we were able to get whatever we needed. Loved being within walking distance to Ricks. Thanks for everyting Maaan!

This is the real Jamaica. Summerset is located in a quiet neighborhood in Negril. It is the perfect place for a nice relaxed stay. You can get to know the local residents without all the hassle you WILL experience at lodging on the beach.
The staff are versatile and helpful. I found them willing to help out in any circumstance without the "that's not my job" attitude you get at the larger resorts.
This is a small, laid back, family owned and operated resort. It is perfect for anyone looking to relax in a stress-free atmosphere. There is a free shuttle that runs twice a day to and from the beach for those who want to explore that side of Jamaica. If not, you can kick-back poolside (or barside) and enjoy the weather.
I have been traveling to Jamaica for over 10 years. I can tell you from experience that this place is the perfect balance of local culture with the comforts of larger resorts.
