Traveller's is an extraordinarily friendly and quiet place where you're able to relax and enjoy the whole experience. The staff is absolutely wonderful, you can sit and eat right on the beach, the food and drinks (I recommend Planter's Punch) were fantastic and very reasonably priced. The room was extremely large with a full kitchen, living area, projection television and a tub with a jacuzzi. The location is awesome, you can walk or take cabs to the clubs and shopping. Also, there is a gorgeous pool and hot tub. I couldn't have asked for more and I would ABSOLUTELY go back!

We arrived at Travellers on April 28 after the first really relaxed airport transfer I have ever had in Jamaica, thanks to Kenny.

The check in process was simple and friendly. Valerie and the other people who handle the front desk proved to be friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. The hospitality starts the minute you enter the lobby and continues until your final check out.

We booked a bungalo with a kitchenette, and my Aunt, who traveled with us, booked a standard room. These bookings were done through the hotel's website, and couldn't have been easier!

The bungalo was very basic, clean and comfortable. There was a full sized refridgerator, a two burner hot plate, a coffee maker, toaster and blender as well as a sink, utensils and cabinet space. The bathroom had a nice shower with the best water preasure I have felt in Negril and a reasonable amount of hot water. There was also an air conditioner and cable TV- not as rustic as other reviewers have let on!

The maid service did a good job of keeping us stocked in extra towels and never once did I have to ask them to change our sheets, as I did on a recent stay to another hotel on the beach, which we will never return to!

The restaruant and bar at Travellers were very nice. The food was good-we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner there more often than I have on any other visit to Negril. The portions were always filling, the view was wonderful,and for the most part the staff always seemed happy to help. Special thanks to Andreen, who is one of the most unforgettable ladies you will ever meet. She really gave my Aunt Bobbie the special treatment that will keep her returning to Jamaica!!

The beach area is always changing due to Mother Nature, so Travellers beach was a little short at this time in comparison to hotels located more in the middle of the beach. That being said, the beach area was still well kept and the security there was well managed.

The gardens were well kept and very beautiful-every bit as enticing as the view of the sea! They have a variety of plants and trees there that were really fun to learn about.

We took a day off from our usual beach walking and visiting to enjoy the pool. What a great place to relax. The murals and the comfortable chairs, and the beautiful garden surrounding the pool are too relaxing for words. Usually I enjoy all of my water time in the sea, but the pool here is so inviting that we set aside time to give it a try. Nice!

Towards the middle of our stay we managed to loose our room key either in a route taxi or at another location. I thought we were in for a major disruption in our stay. Not so. When we returned to the hotel and explained what had happened they were very understanding and within a few minutes we had a fairly painless resolution.

All in all, our time at Travellers was good. We were comfortable and surrounded by beauty, who could ask for more?

I had a wonderful time. It is a beautiful place, the people are beyond and above. The food and service is very good. The scenery is terrific. The shopping is great. I will bring my coworkers next year.

My stay at Travellers was wonderful! I stayed in a Deluxe Room above the lobby and enjoyed every minute of my stay. When the airport lost my luggage, the hotel staff was very helpful in helping me get it back. I used the hotel gift shop and some recommended locations in town to purchase a few items to hold me over until I got my bags back.

Our shower had great water pressure, the bed was comfortable and although we had tv I didn't turn it on - the hotel was entertainment enough for me. The restaurant and bar on site were very convenient and they provided for a very social environment. There are projectors that can play movies/tv and a huge tree that provides shade. Dining or watching the sunset from under the boardwalk is very relaxing and intimate. The beach is very private - since its near the end of the beach not too many people are trying to sell you stuff leaving you to enjoy the sand and sun.

There was also a pool (beautiful!), spa, pool table, and ping pong table. The hotel also helped arrange for me to go horseback riding and jet skiing. From the beach I had access to many glass bottom boats wich I used to go snorkeling and also for a relaxing ride out to Ricks.

I felt very safe at Travellers. There is security during the day and at night. Whether coming in off of the road from a long night of partying or strolling in from the beach, security is watching. The hotel staff was very friendly and definitely gives you a Jamaican experience and I'd choose it any day over the other choices out there.
