Hotel experience was absolutely wonderful. Great location in close proximity to negril town and to night clubs. Staff was very friendly and attentive especially Alicia who was my waitress at the hotel restaurant. Customer service was exceptional. I definitely recommend the hotel to everyone I know. Just want to say thanks for a wonderful vacation and I will be back next year. Thank you.

We stayed with our 2 teenage children for 4 nights and had a fabulous time. The rooms are fine - lovely and cool, and the location is excellent. The all-inclusive breakfasts are a must - really good value and in the most perfect setting. The staff were very helpful and friendly and I think we would all like to return. One word of caution - watch out for the sand flies late in the afternoon.

We stayed at Coral Seas Beach in April 07, we loved it. It felt like being among friends. The staff is the greatest. I love Ricardo!!! Anything that we needed we just asked and he supplied it for us. We stayed in a first floor room and hardly ever needed the a/c. The beach was cleaned every day by the gardening staff and the grounds kept spotless, way to go Garfield and Farmer. I fell in love with Negril, we will never stay in Mobay again. We never had people bother you to get our hair done or to buy their jewelry when you walked on the streets. We had a kitchenette and walked to the grocery several times and we were never hassled. We will come again, and soon!!!

we booked our trip through Onestop and they were awesone from start to finish. the limo picked us up at the airport and had champagne and ginger beer during the ride to the resort. Douglas the driver was very nice and informative. Once at the resort, check in was a breeze, everything was ready. the a/c worked. had a little trouble with the shower the first day, but after my husband figured out the trick, (dont turn it on to full pressure) everything was ok. we stayed for a week and were basically the only ones there. it was very slow that week so we got alot of personal attention. The manager,Sam even took us personally to the craft market so we wouldnt get haggled to death. we walked into Negril one day and that was fine. Got side tracked by Sister Love, who had to show us her wares. nice lady though. we took a few excursions, to appleton estates and to martha brae river rafting. both were fun. there are people that try to sell you stuff all the time, even just walking up and down the beach. i wish they would understand we dont like that, but theyre just trying to make a living and for the most part are totally harmless. the food at the resort was good, but after 7 days we tried everything and were ready for something else. there is a rooster right next door who can get a little loud at various times of the day. but that adds to the 'jamaica way of life". overall a very good trip, definitely recommend coral seas and Onestop Vacations.

“Very Relaxing Place To Stay”

Sunset on the Beach Resort

My dad and I stayed at the Coral Seas Beach resort from March 24 to 31 of 2007. This was my second time to Negril Jamaica. Last year I stayed at the Beachcomber resort down the 7 mile beach. We booked out trip through Onestop Vacations. I highly recommend them for booking your trip to anywhere in Jamaica. They were extremely easy to deal with.
The Coral Seas Beach Resort is a very nice well kept resort. The grounds are looked after very well, the trees and flowers look fantastic. The beach is raked every morning by the grounds keeper who does a great job. The staff at the resort are very friendly, the bartenders and waitress were fantastic. The drinks were very well made especially the fruit punch and the rum punch (my favorite). The food at the resort was good but they had a small menu. I thought that there were to many buffet dinners, having a few buffet dinners are nice to have but five out of the seven days I thought were to many. It would have been nice to have been able to pick from the menu a little more.
Our room was located on the north side of the property it was very nice and had a great balcony as well. Everyday our room was well cleaned and looked after. I wouldn’t recommend anyone having a room on the north side of the property unless you like getting up several times throughout the night and being woken up at 5:30 every morning. Next door to the Coral Seas on the north side there are many dogs, about eight of them. They will start barking in the middle of the night and wake you up unless you are a very sound sleeper but I’m sure anyone would wake up from that. At 5:30 every morning expect to be woken up by a rooster on the north side. It starts making its morning calls then and usually doesn’t stop until noon. I would suggest that anyone staying at Coral Seas Beach stay on the south side of the property and you shouldn’t hear that noise. Its to bad because there is not much that Coral Seas can do about this, its not there fault in anyway.
We noticed that the resort rents out Jetskis at the beach, it was hard not to notice that. The resort’s beach is not roped off like most of the other resorts are. The employees who rent the Jetskis out and there customers travel right through the swimming area very close to the swimmers. I am a certified swimming instructor/guard so I recognize this as very dangerous. Many people who were swimming complained to the staff about how dangerous they were being on the Jetskis. The staff did nothing about this at all, this continued on all week. I understand from residents around the area that it happens all the time. The Jetski staff would even travel down the beach and go into the roped off areas of other resorts to try and get people to rent them out. Several people we noticed walked down the beach and complained about that to the staff. The management of the Coral Seas were told of this situation by several residents and nothing has been done as of yet. I hope that the Coral Seas has a lot of liability insurance, I think that they just might need it. So swimmers you have to look out for yourself so you don’t get run over I really hope that they do something about this situation in the near future.
They have security at the beach front of the resort and they spend there days raking the grounds and making the property look great. That’s all security does though, they don’t provide much security. There are many occasions where the locals will try and sell you stuff, which is fine, you will get that anywhere in Jamaica. Most of the locals are great people and fantastic to talk too. Some of them can be rude and pushy, not many of them though, only a very small handful were that way. I think security should watch for these people bugging the resort guests and do something. Security at the resort will let anyone on the property and they really don’t do much other than sit most of the day and sometimes pick up a rake and clean the grounds of the property.
Overall this resort is very beautiful and is a great small place to stay. It is so nice t o get out of the Canadian winter and visit Jamaica. I will be back to Negril next year and I would stay at the Coral Seas Beach Resort again but on the south side of the property. I can’t wait to visit Jamaica again.
