Nice small resort with a great staff. Being on the far west end of seven mile beach you will see fewer beach vendors,( very relaxing ) , but still close enough to walk to Alfreds and Roots Bamboo. Jet Ski rental right there on the grounds and those guys can hook you up with glass bottom boat or parasailing. The bar has top shelf liquer and prices are reasonable. Food is good, grilled snapper and lobster thermidore are great. The salads are boring, way to much cabbage and not enough lettuce. Rooms are big but nothing fancy but the rates are low so I can't complain. The beach has some big, flat, smooth limestone rocks close to shore but you can walk right over them or around them. lots of beach chairs to be had and the grounds crew place them where you want and wipe them down. The wait staff is really nice.

Bad parts - Room had many problems. The bed was very hard, only a top mattress on a box frame, no box spring, no hair dryer available, air conditioner remote didn't adjust the temperature, we had to stand on a chair to turn it off and on, tv remote didn't work, balcony door didn't lock, bathroom door didn't shut and it took us 3 days to get washcloths. We had the all-inclusive package and the bar was always running out of Red Stripe or Rum cream. They ran out of lobster on the one night we were served lobster. We had to wait 45 minutes for more to be made. Nothing is ever on time. We waited 2 1/2 hours two days in a row for our glass bottom boat ride that the hotel set up and we had paid for in advance.
Good parts - The Limo ride from and to the airport was excellent and very professional. The driver Henry was great. The wait staff was awesome. Very polite and always ready to please.

I spent my last vacation of the year there, and as soon I walked in, I thought it was simply perfect. Booked my trip with onestop and got a semi AI, I believe that this was great for me because I got local spirits and beer and I had lunch there every day, woke up too late for breakfast, and went out to dinner every night to experience all the other local places. My room was great big and cleaned every day. bed so so , pillows not great, but did not bother me much.

Negril was my best vacation ever not so much for were I stayed but it was beautifull, it was for all the people I met who made my trip inolovidable and so so special, you know who you are so wont be naming names, but thanks!!

For this Board thank you for giving me some great info without your information I would not have found about the hotels and many of the restaurants and bars I had such great meals and fun. Again big thanks.

My husband and I just spent 8 fabulous nights at this resort from 11/24/07 to 12/02/07. Originally we were only booked for 3 nights there and the rest was suppose to be at "White Sands Negril", but after checking in at "White Sands" we were extremely dissapointed with the accommendations, so we called back to "Coral Seas" and told them we would like to come back there and asked if they would give us the same rate for the duration of our trip, they welcomed us back with open arms, we couldn't of been more pleased.
The service we received by all of the staff was outstanding from the Manager Mr. Henry right on down the line. The food was great, especially the "grilled red snapper"!!!! The servers Alicia, Nicolette, Roxy & Katie along with Alvin the bartender were very attentive, friendly and great at what they do, keep up the good work guys!!!!
We also got to meet June who just purchased the "Coral Seas Cliff Hotel". We took the free shuttle up there to check it out and that's all I can say is "WOW"!!!! If you prefer the cliffs to the beach I would highly recommend staying there.
This was our first time to Jamaica and we really enjoyed ourselves mostly because of where we stayed and the service we received. It was very beautiful and the weather was awesome to say the least. I highly recommend the "Coral Seas Beach or Cliff Resort" if traveling to Negril, Jamaica "MON"

When we booked our trip, we decided to go all inclusive. (This was the single ladies vacation) We noticed that with all inclusive you would receive limo transportation to and from the airport. We didn't believe that would actually happen. When we arrived at the airport our stretch limo was awaiting us. It made the hour and half trip from Montego Bay much nicer. The staff was very friendly and anything we asked for, we received. For example, my friend wanted plantains, the next morning we were enjoying fried plantains with breakfast. the bartender, Alvin, was AWESOME!! He made the best drinks, was super friendly, and went out of his way to make us special shots and drinks. As a bartender at home I know we were a pain with the frozen drinks. Alvin answered all of our questions, and accommodated us to the fullest extent. It was a pleasure to sit at the bar and enjoy his company. Nicolette was our dinner server every evening and she was also a joy. The staff at Coral Seas Beach was the highlight of our vacation. the rooms are not extravagant, but they are clean and have great A/C. Our room was much larger than expected and the prices were excellent. I highly recommend going there.
