Have just returned from two weeks in Club Ambiance and all I can say is Fantastic considering the price and the supposed 'rainy season' we booked in.

Firstly I will say yes the hotel is very small and does need a little bit of TLC. However this only adds to its charm. The staff there are fantastic. There are currently 120 odd staff to a maximum of 185 guests. the service is very personal. The entertainment is very good. Various theme nights and lots of interaction with the entertainments team. Went on some very good trips and found everyone very friendly.

This locaion is ideal for couples young and old. Children are not allowed. This is not really the place for broader minded couples and the management do not approve of any 'open air actvities'. If you want that i would go to Hedonism which is about 4 miles away

All in all a fantastic place that I will certainly be returning to

Quite possibly the worst place I've ever stayed.

Jamaica is a beutiful place but this had no quality at all. A man made beach, tired worn rooms, constant power cuts, leaking roofs, staff who hounded you if you were female and on your own. Reception even gave some new guests the maids key and my room number by mistake so they let themselves in at 3am and demanded to know why I was in there room,

No entertainment when the weather was bad. Food was dreadful and staff very unfriendly.

I've travelled all over the caribbean and perhaps I just picked a bad place but it's not the Jamaica I was expecting.

Sorry Club Ambience but it wasn't paradise at all.

First let me start by saying this is an OLDER and smaller resort. For those of you looking for a 5 star resort, look elsewhere. That being said, my wife and I had more than a great time at the resort. The staff bends over backwards to make sure you are having a good time. The drinks are strong and plentiful, and the view from our particular room (Honeymoon 1) was gorgeous. The food is buffet style, and on some nights I could see a picky eater going hungry, I found everything very good. My wife did not particularly enjoy Jamaican night however. They do have games and group activities throughout the day, however participation was very low the week we were there. As stated in the other reviews, there are 3 beaches all man made and fairly small, however the resort is also small so there is no problem finding somewhere to lounge. There is 1 beach that is clothing optional, however they have no problems with the woman going topless at all 3 beaches. They do have a night club that opens up at 11pm, however my wife and I could never seem to stay up that late lol.

Just a tip: TIP!!!!

Most of the other visitors were not tipping the help. You'd be amazed what slipping a couple of dollars will do. Also, if you have the pleasure of meeting Neil the entertainment guy, take care of him, and he'll take care of anything you could possibly need.

Can`t believe its almost a week since our last night at the Club Ambience , we`re missing it already.
Our room was no.10 by the stage area and was one we requested , the room was cleaned every day , nice to have a decent fridge in the room, air con was slightly noisy but no bother with it,.
The food was (in our opinion) very good, the roast meats on offer were always succulent, as a soup lover i was delighted every night , desserts were a bit hit and miss for me ( i don`t do them anyway) mainly cheesecake, buns and trifles but i`m told were delicious , breakfast was a favourite for us with the ommelettes and fried eggs by the bubbly Kevin. The outdoor nights were even more special with or without the Jerk sauce .
Big thumbs up to the bar staff who kept us enetrtained all day and night.
Also a big mention to MACHO MAN , MARK and OMAR , for the beach games etc.
The resident band were again SUPERB , big up for Dave and co.
Have to say thanks as well to the waiters/waitresses who looked after us all holiday.
Nice to meet Mr . Blackwood the manager who really looked to be enjoying his job.
Last but not least many thanks to MARIA and especially NEIL from the entertainment staff for making us laugh all day long and for caring so much.
Would we go back? YEAH MON , (this was our 2nd visit anyway)
