Please don't tell your friends about Club Ambiance... we want to keep it all for ourselves!! We found CA on the internet just by chance and have already booked our trip for 2009 (our 3rd year in a row) BTW, that's nothing, we met folks who have been coming here every year for the last 6 or 7 years! THIS IS NOT A 5 STAR RESORT, but it is a very comfortable, afordable and the best all inclusive value on the island. You set your own pace, you do your own thing and the entire staff is always ready to make your stay memorable. Macho, Maria, and Capt. Kirk help keep things lively every day and night. Expect to met folks from all over the States as well as many EU countries. Also expect to make a lot of new friends! Keep it quiet....we don't want want too many people finding out about this!

I spent six days and five night at Club ambiance and I had a great time. I started to be a little apprehensive when I looked at the reviews in a few travel books but i'm just glad I went anyway. I ended up going alone because my friend who was originallly coming with me bailed but I couldn't imagine staying in Atlanta instead of going to Jamaica alone or not. I arrived at 2:00pm and my room was not ready but they clearly posted that check-in is at 3:00. I was able to leave my things at the front desk and they immediately gave me a glass of thier signature (non-alcoholic punch) at the check-in desk. The moment I checked in I felt that the staff was extremely warm and looking to make this a trip to remember. They all went out of their way to make sure I was able to go anywhere or enjoy any of the amenities that they offered. It seemed that only a day or two into my trip that most of the staff and quite a few of the guests knew me by name. The general atmosphere of the resort was laid back and casual though some dressed for dinner the attire is come as you like. My room was cute and the bed was made with flowers which really made you feel that tropical flare. The club is by no means fancy but it is a place I will be coming back to maybe even for a long weekend in the fall. I really was able to rest and play which is what I needed to melt away that stress from city traffic. They have excursions going out everyday and many different options. I'd have to say that it's a great place for a girl to go single or with friends. Come with a open mind and ready for a good time.

We arrived on 24th April for 2 weeks with mild trpidation due to the reviews we had read before we arrived. We needn't have worried. Club Ambiance is just the sort of hotel we like. We have been to many Caribbean Islands and stayed in all manor of hotels. We know what we like, small friendly hotels preferably adults only, food excellent with evening entertainment. Club Ambiance ticked all the boxes for us. We had a very large room overlooking the sea, Room honeymoon 14, well worth paying the upgrade for. The staff were the friendliest we have ever encountered. The only downside was the beach. As the three tiny beaches were manmade we missed our walks along a long stretch of beach but this didn't detract from the great time we had. One word of warning, don't buy the blue mountain coffee from the staff, as it isn't the proper stuff! This is certainly a small hotel with a big heart, always something going on, you can join in or just watch. The nudist part of the beach didn't bother us although there were a few posers who would have been better off staying at the Hedonism Hotel up the road. I would recommend Club Ambiance to anyone who enjoys the same sort of holiday that we do.

We stayed at club ambiance for 2 weeks from 22 april to 6th may.
we booked this hotel because it was smaller than most in jamaica & we like small.The hotel was fine for the price ,food was very good the service was fantastic,what made our holiday was the staff alway helpful & friendly you could not wish for a better service.we were 3 ladies on our own & did not have any problems with the male staff at all.The beach is the only down side,it is man made we would have liked a proper beach but sometimes you can't have it all.For the money this hotel is well worth it i would not have a problem recomending it to anyone thinking of going to jamaica.A big thank you to Macho ,Neil ,Barney the bar man, melonie bar girl and many more.We had a great time.
