My wife and I have been to Jamaica on 20 occaissions now, so I guess we are in a good position to comment on what we experianced.
Well, we arrived at club ambiance and were greeted very warmly and indeed by the hotel manager.
The rooms are basic but comfortable, and kept very clean. Our housekeeper was Donette and she took a real pride in her job.
The hotel throughout was very clean, and the food was excellent.
The staff were friendly and sincere and all seemed to work 24 hrs a day.
The entertainment team were brilliant as were the bar staff and restaurant staff.
Indeed, I would have to say, that as many trips that we have made this was certainly one of the best.
I would also like to say that the crowd that were on holiday at the same time as us were outstanding. That only added to the atmospher and helped us to make some new friends along the way.
Thanks to everyone at Club Ambiance for making this trip such a memorable one.

My husband and I stayed for two weeks from 21st April, great holiday all round, defo going back, Neil,Macho,Mark,Nigel,Stacey, just a few who made our holiday so great. Even the guests every-one so friendly. Food it wicked thanx Mama. What can I say about Colin and denmark great omelette guys. The hotel isn't 5 star but I think for the effort it should be, nothing is a problem for any-one. I would defo recomend the trip to Nine mile (Bob Marleys home). Very good day out. Also the day trip to Kingston, book it with the hotel. You must try a miami vice cocktail you will luv it. Also people go back there time after time, reading some of these reviews before we went I was thinking dam what will it be like, i can promie you, you have no worries. Please don't tell your friends about Club Ambiance... we want to keep it all for ourselves!! We found CA on the internet just by chance and have already booked our trip for 2009 (our 3rd year in a row) BTW, that's nothing, we met folks who have been coming here every year for the last 6 or 7 years! THIS IS NOT A 5 STAR RESORT, but it is a very comfortable, afordable and the best all inclusive value on the island. You set your own pace, you do your own thing and the entire staff is always ready to make your stay memorable. Macho, Maria, and Capt. Kirk help keep things lively every day and night. Expect to met folks from all over the States as well as many EU countries. Also expect to make a lot of new friends! Keep it quiet....we don't want want too many people finding out about this!

I spent six days and five night at Club ambiance and I had a great time. I started to be a little apprehensive when I looked at the reviews in a few travel books but i'm just glad I went anyway. I ended up going alone because my friend who was originallly coming with me bailed but I couldn't imagine staying in Atlanta instead of going to Jamaica alone or not. I arrived at 2:00pm and my room was not ready but they clearly posted that check-in is at 3:00. I was able to leave my things at the front desk and they immediately gave me a glass of thier signature (non-alcoholic punch) at the check-in desk. The moment I checked in I felt that the staff was extremely warm and looking to make this a trip to remember. They all went out of their way to make sure I was able to go anywhere or enjoy any of the amenities that they offered. It seemed that only a day or two into my trip that most of the staff and quite a few of the guests knew me by name. The general atmosphere of the resort was laid back and casual though some dressed for dinner the attire is come as you like. My room was cute and the bed was made with flowers which really made you feel that tropical flare. The club is by no means fancy but it is a place I will be coming back to maybe even for a long weekend in the fall. I really was able to rest and play which is what I needed to melt away that stress from city traffic. They have excursions going out everyday and many different options. I'd have to say that it's a great place for a girl to go single or with friends. Come with a open mind and ready for a good time.
