Great place to stay, it is modest, but comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only problem was if you have a lot of luggage as we did (we were going on a cruise) the elevator is small, and we had to make a couple of trips. Other than that, great place, good location.

I just recently stayed at this hotel for an overnight stay before and after my Southern Caribbean cruise leaving from the Port of San Juan. I booked a group of 20 people altogether and we all thought the hotel was great for a short stay.

We were across the street from the beach, and in close walking distance to restaurants, stores, and nightly entertainment. I would stay here again if I needed short stay accomodations but not for an extended stay. There was some minor confusion with the arrangements for my group and I think this was because this hotel isn't used to accomodating groups that often. They could stand for some renovations to be made but all in all the place was clean and comfortable.

Ruth was very friendly , beautiful hospitality.the front staff were excellent , very friendly, kind but most of all always with a great smile and a warm welcoming, Rafael (I beleave that is your name) keep up the great job and keep smileing. Richard you really need alot of improvement and try to focus more on your guest and their concerns, than your computer, eye contact and a smile goes a long way and the impression will be a lasting one. I will come back to the canario WE LOVED IT. Keep up the good work guys.

Im from puerto rico and every year we stay at this particular hotel its cheap nice great location.. it has cotinental breakfast.. great the only down fall its the parking.. its true it suck but not everything its perfect...but the staff its great the know us by name and location.. i travel about 2 twice a year and my whole family we all stay there.. so i would recommended to anybody... that what a nice hotel not an upscale expesive hotel...
