The front of the hotel seemed nice. The lobby needs a face lift but while we were there they were painting. The people at the front desks were very friendly and so were the bartenders. Our first room was very dirty and our view was an old abandoned building and we decided to upgrade to a bigger room with the ocean as our view but this room's door kept getting jammed inside and out. We couldn't get the key to turn and we struggled with the door for about fifteen minutes, finally went to the front desk and the guys assisted us. Funny how a place that makes lots of money cannot get a locksmith or change the locks. The only great things about this place is the location (four blocks awasy from fine shopping) and two blocks away from where the bus stop was to take the bus to Old San Juan. Also the bar is on the back of the lobby with the ocean view so one does not have to venture far for great cocktails. The beach is literally your own back yard which was great. The roof top provided beach chairs and great views and a shower but the place was dirty. Don't expect a four or five star * hotel.
