We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and had a very good time. The location is great and the people there are very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and nice to come back to even though we spent most of our time outside throughout the streets of Old San Juan and on the beach during the day. The complementary rooftop breakfast in the morning was also a very enjoyable perk. Hotel Milano puts you right in the center of Old San Juan and the beach is only a short bus or cab ride away. The only downside is that it could be a bit noisy depending on where your room is located since the Hotel is on a very busy street. The noise factor however was not an issue for us. Great place to stay!!!

Stayed at the Milano for 2 nights last year pre-cruise having read about it on Tripadvisor. Was not disappointed then, and booked up for the same again this year. Again not disappointed. Hotel commands an ideal situation for viewing the Old Town, and designer shops. Still great value for money. Hotel is clean, staff welcoming and breakfast adequate considering what the room rate is against other hotels in San Juan. If you want pancakes for breakfast, bacon and all the trimmings, spend another $200 and go elsewhere. The Milano will do for me every time!

This is a lovely small hotel with personalised service and excellent value for money. We spent one night in January and two nights in February at the Hotel Milano in San Juan. The hotel is situated in an ideal location, right in the centre of the old town and right next to some really good restaurants. The rooms are comfortable, nicely decorated and have efficient air-conditioning units. On our first night we stayed in one of the rooms which overlooked the street outside and we didn't find it at all noisy, contrary to some other reports we had read. The reception staff were extremely helpful and efficient, particularly Laura. Breakfast is served in the restaurant at the top of the building, where there is also an open patio area with views over the roof tops. Breakfast consists of hot rolls, croissants or apple turnovers, fruit, cereal, juice, tea and coffee. The restaurant at the moment is only open for breakfast. We had two wonderful dinners at the nearby Marmalade Restaurant (pacific rim with a touch of Iberia) and the Tantra (Indo-Latino Cuisine), where there was also an extensive list of exotic martinis. We will definitely stay at this hotel again on our next trip to San Juan.

Right in the center of Old San Juan, easy walking to all the sites. Clean, comfortable, and quiet, with friendly staff. This is our second time there.
