We really enjoyed the Coral Princess. It's in a great location in Condado a short walk to the beach and very close to great restaurants and shopping. A quick cab ride to Old San Juan. The hotel was very clean and the staff was extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend it to others.

We stayed in the Penthouse suite for one quick night, and on first impression it was very cool! Definitely a smooth decor: very modern. The whole hotel has a random chic appearance with antique furniture blended with bold colorful paintings and modern lines. Only upon settling in did we begin to be disappointed. The toilet paper, a priority for my D.H., was the cheapest quality one could purchase, the shower was plumbed directly into the jacuzzi tub, which was a little awkward to step in or out of, there were cheap soaps and, a female's favorite, "conditioning shampoo". I don't know a female that doesn't appreciate conditioner!! There weren't even kleenex in the room! The cheap t.p. had to suffice! There were doors that opened directly onto the roof-top deck that had no instructions and were impossible to open. The a.c. was an individual unit mounted on the wall controlled by a remote that, apparently, had been dropped so the LCD screen was unreadable. I spent the night either roasting or freezing not being able to find a happy medium. Another disappointment for me was that the hotel was a $12 (one way) cab fare away from Old San Juan. The last, but not least, missing commodity in our PENThouse sute was an alarm clock!!!! All that said, the bed was very comfy, the staff friendly and the hotel fairly clean. Probably wouldn't stay there again, or wouldn't pay *$200* dollars for maybe what a lesser room would've offered.

Just stayed in Coral Princess last 3 days, really nothing special, I looked next door at the Consulate hotel, a few more bucks and it’s a lot nicer.

Location on Condado is excellent. Rooms showed wear and tear, air con works either ice box mode or nothing.

Hotel was not forthright about there true room rate, and at end of stay they added 10 bucks a day for nothing.

When I asked about it, I was told it was for the Internet and TV which on web says is included.

Bottom-line, I would be careful these guys seem to just want to nickel and dime, which is too bad, I guess they think no one tells anyone about these little extras.

When arriving at the Corral Princess Inn I wasn't sure what to expect from the small outside area. After entering I was very pleasantly surprised. The very friendly hotel employee informed us that there were no more rooms available (even though we had made reservations) and asked if we minded the penthouse instead!!

The room was wonderful, very spacious, marble floors, huge bathroom/closet, bathtub with jets, flat screen tv, and extemely comfortable king bed. The hot tub was outside our room on the upper patio, we planned on using it both nights but ended up too tired. The penthouse floor had a full sized kitchen, pool table, and office area.

We had spent one night in a name brand hotel in San Juan a few nights before and were very disappointed. I highly recommend the Corral Princess Inn. It was much more than we expected and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was very nice and clean! I would definelty return to this hotel!

very nice experience in this small hotel, would say rather guest house. The room (suite) was very comfortable, located at the rear, so more quiet. Breakfast in the patio with a lot of exotic plants, is a kind of refreshing simplicity.
One thing i want to add about our San Juan experience is the lack of serious concerning the common transportation, i mean bus : we have waited about 45 minutes for a bus to the Old San Juan on a saturday morning and finally we had to take a taxi. And don't forget to talk about the cost before, usually 12 dollars, otherway you could be charge untill 16 or 18 dollars. It's a shame and as i have discussed with a loco people, the taxi syndicate is powerfull and they are opposed to the creation of a direct line from the airport to downtown ...
