I stayed at this property for five nights for business.

It is somewhat difficult to find the entry since the address does not appear in the GPS, and the map appears on the google map is incorrect. I highly recommend reviewing the direction to the hotel before setting out.

The bathroom relatively clean with a few mold spots on the celing. The chairs had lots of stains on it and looked dirty. The room was relatively quiet although it could get quite loud on Friday night when they bring in a band in the evening. The room stayed very cold no matter what I did to the thermostat.

The internet connection was problematic. It does not allow VPN connection. I was disappointed in this since they charge for in-room wireless interent connection.

The food choices are not so great at the hotel, and I found parking to be very inconvenient and difficult.

It seems like most of the guests are having really good time, so I think the property is really good for vacation. But I found it somewhat dissapointing for business purpose. I tried this hotel because it was recommended by the people I was visiting as an alternative to staying in San Juan to reduce commute time, as it will cut down about 20 to 30 minutes of driving if you had to go to the western part of the island.

I just returned from 10 days at this resort with my son and husband and we had a fabulous time. The hotel was extremely accomodating and all the staffers were extremely friendly. We made plenty of friends. The rooms were very nice and clean and the linens were very fresh.
The only negative thing I would have to say is the Spa treatments weren't really worth what I paid. I had originally booked a spa treatment on the beach and I thought, they had a separate section (which they don't) like a real spa, but they don't. they wanted to give me a massage on the beach with everyone around us. I guess I should haved booked it in my suite, but didn't think I would be comfortable there. Anyway, I had it indoors in the fitness facility which was not quiet at all. A massage was meant to be relaxing and tension releasing and I found it extremely difficult to relax with the sound of the treadmill just outside and hotel guests talking up a storm and laughing. (should have just cancelled it!). Anyway, they do not have a spa, so it wasn't worth it. Other than that, the food was great, they had nightly entertainment, and the Manager's cocktail hour daily was fun. Overall, a really nice vacation.

My husband, son & I decided it was time to take a "special" family vacation - not the typical Florida or Cape Cod excursion. We decided on Puerto Rico and the Embassy Suites. I must say that overall, the majority of the staff at the hotel were very friendly and accomodating. Breakfast comes with the room which is nice for children. The rooms were clean and when we requested things from the front desk, they were brought up immediately. The issue we had was the pool area. No one tells you that the time shares "condos" that are located right next to the hotel also have access to the Embassy pool. When we 1st checked in the woman told us we MUST wear our white bracelet in order to swim in the pool as it shows us as hotel guests. However, on the weekend, both Saturday & Sunday both my husband & I saw a TON of people without bracelets. There was no security anywhere! It is also very frustrating that we were paying a lot of money for cocktails from the pool bar and people all around us are drinking bottled (glass) beers from their styrofoam coolers!! While we enjoyed our time in Puerto Rico I think it is fair to say that if we went back we would NOT stay at the Embassy Suites again.

This was my second time in this hotel, another 2-week stay. Unfortunately that one was not up to the price paid. I had requested a golf-view room; I got one, nice although overlooking the two huge air conditioning hotel fans which are constantly working and particularly noisy. So I requested another one and was granted a room on the 3rd floor right above the ballroom. Extremely bad location, and unfortunately no other room available! Parties were going on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday etc. with music playing until very late in the night, in fact early in the morning. Terrible when you are there for business. Neighbours in adjacent rooms were particularly noisy, which demonstrates poor room insulation. It was almost impossible to enjoy the pool which did not open until 8am (it was supposed to open as soon as 7am) and would be instantly crowded by hordes of bawling kids. In addition, the internet connection never worked in my room and was never fixed although raised to the hotel staff; and you get to pay for it every day! Breakfast quality is hardly average, and personnel at front desk were overall not really caring. Also, avoid using the laundry service, as my shirts were delivered with damaged buttons! Finally, the food in the restaurant appears to be overpriced; and so is parking. Is that because mid-May was just a bad period? I'm really unsure and was overall quite disappointed. It is unlikely I will stay there a third time, although the hotel location is great.
