We travel alot and go on alot of tours and Joe Knows is the best. He knows the island and will show you a good time. Joe and his crew will take good care of you. They cater to your group and make sure you see and do everything you want... We did two tours with Joe and he made sure we were able to do the piton tour on the day we needed. Joe's word is good... He made it happen! Catch him on the beach Monday and Tuesday.... He's the guy in the Joe Knows shirt...

We did the Soufriere Special tour during the week of February 22nd. We had an AWESOME time because Joe KNOWS it all!

I had heard about Joe from other trip advisor reviews for the Sandals Regency (where we stayed). Find him on the beach early in the week because he takes tours out around Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. We also looked at his website before our vacation www.joeknowsstlucia.com

If you're staying at the Regency don't make the same mistake my boyfriend and I did and climb all the way to the gate near the main road :) you don't have to go that far, Joe picks you up at the security gate that is just past the golf course. Oops!

The tour was fantastic! We got a really good taste of the island in one day and got to see the volcano, waterfall and botanical gardens, pitons, lunch over looking the pitons, and the rum factory. Joe can answer any question you throw at him, seriously! He is hilarious, hospitable, and the most knowledgable guide to the island you can find!

This was obviously waaay better than a Sandals tour where they take you to just one site or do one activity for a much higher cost. We really felt like we got to see everything and learned a lot about St. Lucia. I strongly strongly recommend Joe Knows Tour - you will have a fabulous time! JOE KNOWS!!!!!!!!

After reading reviews of various tour operators on St. Lucia and emailing them, we chose Joe. His $80 per person seemed like the right price for what we wanted to see. We booked the tour with him over email and on the day of our tour, Joe showed up promplty at 8am in this airconditioned van. We took off from the Sandals Grande, on our way picking up some folks at the Regency. On our tour we went by the banana plantation, took pics at Smuggler's Cove, drove through Anse la Raye, visited the Diamond Falls and botanical garden, the sulphur volcano (keep in mind that when the wind blows in a certain direction the smell is enough to make you gag but it is an experience), the Pitons and the rum factory. The tour is about 7 hrs and includes a stop for lunch at an open-air restaurant overlooking the Pitons. Joe knows his island facts and the trip is educational. You can buy some nice rum at the factory and for $2 enjoy a tasting. Joe is also nice enough to heed certain special requests such as our's to taste cassava bread. With any food away from the resorts on St. lucia keep in mind though that your stomach may be a little upset so eat in moderation.

We just got home from St. Lucia and experienced the Rainforest Hike and the Sourfriere tours. Joe and Al were great and I can't thank them enough for their generous hospitality in showing us St. Lucia. We went on the Rainforest Hike on Friday and the Sourfriere tour on Sunday. Since most shops and the rum factory are closed on Sunday, Joe and Al made sure we got to see as much as possible on the Friday tour. On the Rainforest Hike, we hiked up to an incredible waterfall and ended up being the only people there so we had the whole waterfall to ourselves. Al was great in taking so many pictures for us so we would never forget it! Al is knowledgeable and gave us so much information about St. Lucia and the people. We were comfortable asking anything. Al was an incredible tour guide. We visited a banana plantation, the rum factory and stopped for many incredible picture shots on the side of the road. On Sunday's tour, we went to another waterfall which was just a stunning and to the volcano. The volcano tour was educational and everyone was friendly. We got to drink and eat from a jelly coconut and Cassava. We both wish we could have brought some back as both were delicious and not something we can get in the States.
We picked Joe Knows from the reviews on TripAdvisor. We stayed at Sandals Regency and we are glad we made the right choice to try Joe Knows. I would recommend Joe Knows to anyone going to St. Lucia and wants an incredible experience.
