I booked through Sea Sports Diving just a few weeks before my departure for Grand Cayman. I was originally booked throught Red Sail Sports, but Red Sail changed its diving schedule after I booked with them in such a way that was not convenient for me. My travel agent found Sea Sports Diving, and I have to say that I am pleased that I changed. Having never been to Grand Cayman before, I didn't know what to expect. I learned after I got there that Red Sail Sports is a HUGE operation. They dive in large crowds, and you deal with a desk clerk, not the actual dive masters. And, you are limited to their (inflexible) itinerary.
By contrast, just as their ad says, Sea Sports Diving has small groups and big service. It is a small, personable and flexible operation. They worked to accomodate my schedule. In fact, Jim, the owner, personally arranged a night dive for us. And, the dive groups are small (we never dove with more than 5 other people), making the dive a pleasant and more personal experience.
Jim, the owner, and Kevin, the dive master, are terrific. This was a very pleasant and memorable experience.
