I booked through Sea Sports Diving just a few weeks before my departure for Grand Cayman. I was originally booked throught Red Sail Sports, but Red Sail changed its diving schedule after I booked with them in such a way that was not convenient for me. My travel agent found Sea Sports Diving, and I have to say that I am pleased that I changed. Having never been to Grand Cayman before, I didn't know what to expect. I learned after I got there that Red Sail Sports is a HUGE operation. They dive in large crowds, and you deal with a desk clerk, not the actual dive masters. And, you are limited to their (inflexible) itinerary.

By contrast, just as their ad says, Sea Sports Diving has small groups and big service. It is a small, personable and flexible operation. They worked to accomodate my schedule. In fact, Jim, the owner, personally arranged a night dive for us. And, the dive groups are small (we never dove with more than 5 other people), making the dive a pleasant and more personal experience.

Jim, the owner, and Kevin, the dive master, are terrific. This was a very pleasant and memorable experience.

My wife and I were on our honeymoon and looking for a small group for a single tank dive. We had limited time ( <7 hrs, we were on a cruise) and found Seasports after they were recommended to us by two other dive shops given our time constraints. Jim picked us up right on time, drove us to the dive site and had our gear ready for us. My wife had some difficulty and did not join us in the dive, but at no time did we feel any pressure for her to continue. The dive was excellent, Jim brought along a underwater camera and took some pictures, he even allowed me to take some. The price was very reasonable including gear rental. He even recommended a great place to eat afterward and dropped us off at the restaurant. EXCELLENT service all around. I will definitely recommend Seasports to anyone who asks me about diving in the Cayman Islands. Thanks Jim!

My wife Lydia and I spent seven days diving with Seasports this past August and a blast! Getting picked up on the beach at 9:15 with your gear already set up and waiting for you on the boat is the only way to dive on Grand Cayman. Jim and his crew are great above and below the water. Not only did they find us amazing photo opportunities they made sure to get under water pictures of my wife and I without even being asked. Jim's recommendations for post dive food and entertainment were also spot on.
Jim and his crew answered all of our dive questions and encouraged us to try diving with less weight to increase our bottom time. Diving with Seasports has made my wife and I more confident divers. So thank you to Jim, Ingrid, and Kevin! We look forward to seeing you guys on our next trip to G.C.- Mike and Lydia

Jim and his crew were very professional, fun and made this an awesome experience. They took time with each diver, all but one diver was a beginner and 4 were teenagers, and made sure each of us were comfortable and able to perform all basic dive skills. Their knowledge of underwater sea and plant life was remarkable. The friendly personalities of Jim and his crew made this trip top notch! Thank you again.

I was on Grand Cayman Island from August 28-Sept 4, 2009. I went with SeaSports Diving based on the positive feedback posted on TripAdvisor. I did their morning 2-tank dive trip twice that week. The group was nice and cozy being just 6 divers plus 2 crew. The proprietor, Jim and his mate are excellent hosts. The diving conditions were phenomenal as was SeaSports hospitality. Jim picked me up at my hotel by car 1 morning and returned me to my hotel’s beach via boat. The 2nd day was roundtrip transportation via boat to the hotel beach. We descended to 115 feet at Orange Canyon and the dives did not end until the last person’s air was depleted, or until the dive computers recommended otherwise. SeaSports did not end the dives when the first person surfaced, although everyone pretty much surfaced together based on depth and/or air consumption. SeaSports seemed committed to diver safety and the divers always did safety stops on the ascents. I highly recommend SeaSportsDiving if you want to SCUBA dive on Grand Cayman Island. SeaSports even had night dive(s) that week, but I was not able to attend. SeaSports took pictures both days (4 trips) and they posted the pictures each day in the photo gallery on their website. They even include an equipment valet service , which I did not take andantage of since I only brought a regulator set-up.
