If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing stay on 7 mile beach, Grandview Condo's is a great choice. Condo's were quiet and the laid back Cayman atmosphere was evident here. The grounds were very well maintained, the rooms were comfortable, spacious and clean. Max was very helpful and always available to offer advice for dining, diving spots etc...The view of Caribbean offered picturesque views of the sunset. The pool was ideal for all ages in our group, and we often had the large pool to our ourselves. We used the beach area a few times but you'll need water shoes due to rocky bottom. It was good for impromptu snorkeling with a nice reef about 50 yards off shore. The beach area at the Treasure Island resort next door was a bit more swimming-friendly for the youngsters.
There were plenty of eating options ranging from inexpensive (for Cayman) grub at Coconut Joes to nice sit down dinner at the Bed, with both being within walking distance. We rented a car so were able to access the entire island but you certainly don't need one as the condo's are centrally located. We drove to different dive outfitters but most would also be able to pick you up right at the beach via boat.
Our first trip to Cayman was a memorable one and I would highly recommend the Grandview for lodging.
