I had the pleasure of staying here for 2 week. There is nothing to fault in this hotel. From my first meeting with Lou Ann, who showed us around the hotel for the rooms that were available to my checkout were an excellant experience. . The hotel staff are one of the best I have experienced in my +30 year of international travel , I would recommend that if you are staying in Port of Spain, try the Carlton Savannah. You will enjoy.

My parter and I throughly enjoyed our stay at the CS.

The hotel is brand new with all modern fixtures and amenities that you would require from a hotel in this category.

Though the hotel is still undergoing some construction and furnishings, this in no way affected negatively on our stay there.

Our room was clean and spacious. The bed was absolutely comfortable and the bathroom was magnificent.

The robes provided were thick and new and felt so nice.

The food was divine. There are two restaurants - Casa & Relish.
Casa = Fine dining.
Relish = Casual dining.

Menu needs to be expanded a bit for more choices and variety.
The room service menu is very short (just one page with few options).

The hotel staff are warm, welcoming and very hospitable. Always have a smile on their faces and always willing to help.

The guests parking is across the road from the hotel which I found strange, because you have to park your car across the street then cross the busy main road to get to the hotel. I recommend that something we done about this. We found this very inconvenient.

The CS is a beautiful place to stay but I would recommend it for adults and more mature executive type guests & business travellers.

When I arrived at The Carlton Savannah, I was greeted by one of the best staffs in the Caribbean. It was a refreshing experience. Everyone, especially Colin, must have attended The Carlton Savannah University since they were extremely knowledgable about everything. From the paintings in the lobby to the wall treatments on each floor. They know it all.

Service is what separates this hotel from the crowd. The rooms were spacious and modern with all the amenities you will need. Since the hotel is still under construction, WIFI is not available, but they do provide an ethernet cord that plugs right into your laptop. You won't miss a beat! Room service was excellent, too. It always arrived in a timely manner by one of the many friendly faces at TCS. The menu is limited, but I highly recommend the the burger. The herb mayonaise really makes a statement. For breakfast, choose the American. It consists of bacon, sausage, potatoes, tomatoes, mushrooms, eggs, even baked beans and a couple of other items. A wonderful presentation, too.

At IndaBar, Gabriel and Kerwin will take care of you. This is the lobby bar where a lot of the local business folk "lime." Overall, I enjoyed The Carlton Savannah and will return on every trip. It is a wonderful addition to Trinidad. Oh, and I love the valet parking!

We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay at this hotel. It's brand new, everything clean and modern. Service is top notch, the best i've experienced in this country. The food is also excellent and not too badly priced.
Carlton is definitely the place to indulge!
