An excellent choice when visiting the lovely Tobago. Instead of being stuck in a hotelroom, you have your very own house. You can buy your own supplies, so there's no long walk down to the bar, if you want a beer or snack.

Furthermore you get your private maid, who does all the cleaning and for a small extra fee makes dinner. Also the maid do the laundry, which means you can return from your vacation with a suticase of clean clothes.

Last, but not least, all the employes are extremely friendly!

The greatest vacation ever!

This is a WONDERFUL property. The service is exceptional and the property's beach is great. Whatever activity you want to do can be arrange easily by Fiona right in the office. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this property.

Of note; most prices in resturants, pubs and for tours are quoted US dollars however most establishments want to be paid in TT$ at a 6 to 1 ratio as of AUG 2006 (TT$ to US$). This property does not exchange any currency however there is an ATM a short 5 minute stroll into town. If you need to exchange currency do it at the airport (usually not a good rate) or at the bank in Crown Point when you arrive. We found we got the best exchange using the ATM.

    • Liked — Open patios with great views and the fact you can arrange ANYTHING you desire from the staff
    • Disliked — We were told that our house attendant could make dinner for us at our request (at an additional charge) if we liked; however when we asked our attendant for ONE night's dinner she acted as if it was an inconvenience to her.

Pleased with villa on evening arrival, although rather suprised that a road ran between villas and pool/beach area. Following morning fully appreciated our very comfortable accommodation and the location, view and especially the arrival of Shirley who was to look after us magnificently for the next 10 days.
We were fortunate in having what we thought was the best located villa (the ones at the top of the property were close to the main road and quite a climb on foot)and had the pool facilities mainly to ourselves.
Stonehaven beach although not as picturesque as some Caribbean beaches soon became a great favourite with very good swimming (no jelly fish/seaweed) and plenty of activity - fishermen hauling in their nets in the morning, but nobody pushing their wares.
Proximity to Golf Course, other beaches and shops a great bonus, especially as eating out was very disappointing, and either Shirley or our cooking made this a perfect family holiday home.

“Wonderful Time at Plantation Beach. A Tropical Dream Vacation”

My Husband and I got married at Plantation Beach Villas in 2004. I am a Trinidadan (a local) who now lives in the U.S. I cannot imagine a more perfect location for my wedding. All of my friends rented the 6 villas at Plantation beach and we had an amazing time. It is perfect tropical location.

Suzanne and Fioona are great. (Don't make the mistake that I did and think that their laid back attitude means that they don't know what they are doing - Its just the Tobago way, and it will be as you ordered when you get there)

The Villas are amazing. The staff are great. (The maids washed and FOLDED our laundry every day).

I loved our time here and hope you get to enjoy it as well.

I stayed at the Plantation Beach Villas in Sept/Oct of 2003 and was pleasantly surprised. As soon as we opened the door to the villa there were big smiles on our faces. Simply out - the villas are beautiful and have a very homey feeling with everything you need at your disposal.
Quite honestly I think the website under sells the property and it is much nicer in person ( that rarely seems to happen). I actually went to sleep and woke up to the sound of waves from the ocean villa overlooked. What was also nice about the property is you have evrything at your disposal and have a great staff to service your needs. We actually only ate out once because we arranged for our housekeeper to cook for us. The cost was only $12 per meal; not per person, per meal!
And the food was great! I highly recommend the Plantation Beach villas and tobago to everyone. Having traveled a great deal I believe this is one of the best bargins our there especially if you have others traveling with you. The cost per night works out to be quite economical and with $12 meals per person it definitely is budget friendly. In short, do there and escape. Just remember to bring some bug spray with you.
