Well, I carried my wife on a surprise Birthday trip to Tobago and must say that I was a bit dissatisfied. The way the hotel advertised itself...and what I found varied. When we arrived i must say from the front of the hotel...things looked fine!

When we entered, the receptionist (who was on the phone blabbing away) handed us a form to fill out and just ignored us. A gentleman at the front desk completed the job in a "professional" manner and pointed us to our room.

There was many ants in the room and in the sheets when I arrived and the space in the room left a lot to be desired. The kitchen was a small two burner oven and a toaster oven and the bathroom was small and included a non-operational hair-dryer.

The grounds and view however were breath-taking and the restaurant and bar staff great! Entertainment on the two nights we were there was really awesome and the food and beverages ...well....yummy. I will go back but maybe try a cabana instead and pray for the best.

The hotel is in a very good location, only a few minutes walk from the airport, so you don't need to catch a taxi, and right on the sea, and next to a lively beach. All the rooms are self catering, with mini-markets near-by, and all overlook the sea. There is also a pool. The rooms are clean, bright and everything works. We paid US$80 for the room per night without breakfast. There is internet access for free, if you do not use it for more than 30 minutes.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights in cabana 418, after the first night, I went to breakfast at Vie de france opposite the Airport, on my return to my cabana at approximately 8:45am, I saw a gentleman coming out of my cabana through the front sliding door, I assumed this was a maintainance personnel, since I reported the sliding door was not locking. I inquired are you here to fix the sliding door, he replied yes and proceeded to thug the door back and forth. My wife and daughter proceeded to take a shower, I rest my cell phone and carry bag on the counter.
Immediately after the gentleman left I attempted to make a cell phone call, but was unable to, since my cell phone was missing, I immediately checked my carry bag and found my wallet gone. I immediately reported the incident hotel security, a report was given, it was discovered the this person was not hotel staff, no one knew him. I was told to report it to the police, I did, after having to get to the station on my own. Ther police were very accomodating, unlike the hotel staff. I was never compensated for my loss, neither did I receive an apology.
Two days after, from home I call my stolen cellphone and to my dismay a local answered it, he told me it was given to him by another local, he assured me he would return it to the hotel.
Since I've heard nothing from the hotel staff.

A friend recommends that we stay at this hotel, because it’s close to it all
Well she was right, you just walk out the airport (Crown Point Airport) and the hotel is down the street, which is also the beach.
The hotel is not very modern, but who cares, you didn’t come there to work, but just get away and rest and relax on the beach, which is what I did over and over again.
There is a computer in the lobby with free internet access, just incase you want to look up tours or anything else.
The staff was very friendly, the beach is a hop; skip away from your door.
This beach, Store Bay is beautiful, amazing, simply the best, Pigeon Point (the famous beach in Tobago) cannot compare to Store Bay. Pigeon Point is overrated. Since it became private, it’s just a money hungry corporation, gimme money with nothing in return, not the best beach at all. Maybe back in the days (1980’s) it was the best, not anymore.
Stick with Store Bay.
I would wake up at 6am and walk down to the beach, take a dip and come back to my room and sleep again. What more would you want from a hotel.
I can’t wait to go there
They suites have a kitchen with pots, pans, plates, silver ware, knives, etc. Just walk outside the hotel to the supermarket and you can prepare your own food.
Bigger the group you go with, the more fun you will have at this hotel.
Tobago is one of the undiscovered paradises in the Caribbean, I hope it don’t get too commercial like others.

My girlfriend and I had the the best 10 days of our lives here, from check in to check out it was just such a pleasure. The staff, it would be easiere to say what they did not do besause they did everything possible to make sure we would have a great vacation. Coming from a city like New York I was not sure what to expect and this was our first vacation in 8 yrs but I just have to say after this trip to Tobago and meeting these people you really put things together and realize that work is not everthing and vacations should be taken. In saying this, Thank You to the staff of Crown Point Beach Hotel for making me remember to have fun in life. I can't wait to come back.

The rooms clean comfy and georgous, a porch outside your room with huge glass sliding doors grounds well kept and a 3min walk to the beach mygirlfriend loved that, she was like a fish swimming for hours in that great clear blue/green water she was in heaven and that look on her face just made it all so better. YOU ARE THE BEST IN MY BOOKS.
