me and my husband made reservations at this hotel to spend our easter of 2007....unfortunately we canceled and we never made it to the store bay holiday resort.....after sometime i decided to call them to have my money refunded...it took me about six phone calls to finally get a chance to talk with the manager...dawn...after all the frustration she explained to me that they never had a record of my cancellation so therefor i cannot get a refund....i explained to her that its not my fault that her staff never took the time to log it in and she acted like she didn't care so i guess i just financed this resort with my hard earn cash for nothing.....i wont recommend them at all because they don't do good business at all

The office hours are 8 am to 8 pm and after those hours there is no security on the compound. My family and i stayed there for 3 days and the last day we work up to cook and guess what no GAS. What a treat that was to us. We were looking around for a receptionist or someone to assist us but all we got from the maids were the office hours are from 8am and it was 7:30am. When the rain falls be prepared for flood downstairs. Wow what a resort. Forgot the best thing we had no light in the room and outside. We told them about it and they never came. Please choose somewhere else to stay.

My husband and two young children stayed here for two nights and three days . We requested a room for four on the ground floor. When we arrived, we were told our room was on the upper storey. This presented a problem for us as we had a stroller and baby bag to lug all the time. We were told that a room would be made available for us the next day on the ground floor on the following day. This never materialised. The other problem with the room was that it could only accomodate three. When we pointed this out, a bed was quickly put in, but we now could not close the bedroom door as the bed was ill-fitting in this room. The dishwashing liquid ran out fast, and there was no refill by housekeeping. There was a blackout, no generator kicked in , and so there was no a/c that night. Also no electricity meant the water supply was disrupted - that's right -no water. That is a nightmare with kids around. The icing on the cake came when, on the day we were scheduled to depart , we requested a change of towels as we were only given one set since arrival. We were informed that their policy was no towels on check-out days!! Contrary to expectation, our room was not cleaned properly, and certainly not every day. This was certainly my last visit to this place.

I stayed here for two weeks in June 2007, after liking the reviews i read on Tripadvisor. I have to say that the reviews were in general on point. This is not a luxury resort (i noticed that alot of Tobagonian hotels use the word 'resort' very loosly, so dont take the word literally) but my stay was very pleasant.

The hotel is located a very short walk from the airport as well as the gorgeous Store Bay Beach. I personally prefer Mount Irvine Beach which is a 20 minute drive away, because its less crowded and has a reef with lovely snorkeling.

There are alot of little shops within walking distance, and a bigger supermarket - Pennysavers - very closeby on Milford Road. We had dinner round the corner at Pelican Reef and their fish is delectible. The shops in general are fairly priced - we were surprised to find a great wine selection at Pennysavers.

There's a new mall along the road to scarborough. There were only a few shops open so far, but its very modern, and i would suppose that within a few months it should be a great place to shop. There's also cineplex being built next door that looked like it was a few months away from completion also.

We were a large group, so i was able to see what quite a few of their rooms were like. The beds are pretty hard, and there are alot of mosquitoes on the lower floors. One of the rooms had a very noisy airconditioner and another a leaky shower - but in general we all had a great stay. I would recommend asking for a room on the second floor, as those had lovely private balconies which were very private even though they face the road.

The kitchens are quite adequate, although we decided to buy ourselves a better kitchen knife as we were planning on doing alot of cooking, and the knives they had were kind of dull for cutting vegetables.

The staff were lovely - everyone from the very friendly and helpful Dawn at the front desk, to the unobtrusive housekeepers who clean the rooms very well every other day.

I have already recommended this hotel to friends because especially considering its location, you really cant beat the price. I would definitely stay here again.
