My husband and I ate at da Conch Shack on our recent trip to Provo. We did not make a reservation but we went early (6:30 p.m.) and were lucky to get seated at a shared table by the bar. The evening we went the Island Boys were performing so it got very crowded. I started with their rum punch which was very good and my husband had a Turks Head beer which was good also. We both ordered the conch combo which consisted of conch fritters with a choice of two sides. We both had peas and rice and mac and cheese. I thought the mac and cheese was a little dry but still tasty. The portions were large. Conch was good also. The Isand Boys were great and we enjoyed dancing along with the music. Lots of fun to watch the host keep track of who is up next for a table. This restaurant is a bit out of the way in Blue Hills but fun for lunch or dinner. Service was a bit slow and you had to ask for your tab but they did not rush you and we did not mind because we were enjoying the others at our table, the music and the dancing.
