Never have I gone on vacation and found a restaurant with a FABALOUS FOOD, WINE LIST THAT PUST A SMILE ON YOUR FACE. This restaurant is so good I am now planning on returning to Saint Thomas, with some of my best friends just to eat! Yes, it is that good! I live Tacoma, Washington and we have very good restaurant here and in Seattle. Craig & Sally’s is beyond good it is truly special. The taste of each item special, the balance of taste, texture both springs to life. I have traveled to Hawaii, the Maldives, British Virgin Island and this is the best food I have ever found. When I was talking to my waitress she said she had been working there for twelve years! The treat their employees and customers like you the king! The food is the crown!

While visiting the island of St. Thomas recently on business on the third evening of my trip I was over ecstatic with the discovery of Craig & Sally’s. I was entertaining clients nightly and this was the fist night everyone was completed delighted! Wow that’s had to do. The food from a new menu daily with freshly prepare entrees. The flavors and blends of traditional and local were fantastic! Menu was complemented by a wine list that even one of my guests could not disparage! Great wines! Great food! Great Wait staff!

Hate to have to qualify my review but we travelled here from NYC so we are a bit spoiled and self admittantly food snobs. When we go on vacation we love to just dine at real local food places. Think ceviche made at the beach or chowder prepared on the docks. Rarely when we travel to sun spots do we find find dining that should be called fine dining, it's just ok dining. We came here hoping for a rare find but as we feared it was an average dining experience. Craig is a wonderful soul, just sorry we can't rave about his food. When you have lived in a city with access to wonderful restaurants (and I don't mean just big cities, we love dining in Portland, both in OR and ME) it's tough to get excited about a plate that is finished with that standard, all American mushy mixed veggies. You know, broccoli and carrots, the kind that looks like it had been sitting in a pot of wAter all day. Rice that tastes like it had been drenched in butter. Nothing special. The main though, whether fish or meat( we had the grouper and osso bucco) was admittantly better, but marginally. Didn't help when the waiter insisted the foie gras was a seared piece and not a terrine. Guess what showed up on my plate. He did appologize but it was too late. If you're looking for great food in St. Thomas, it's a tough excercise. We didn't try all the restUrants and we did get rave reviews of other spots from others we met here. Just don't have high expectations, that way your experience will be a decent one.

Craig and Sally's is not wheelchair accessible as the bathrooms are too small for a wheelchair. If they were accessible I'd rate them as excellent.

The wine list at Craig and Sally's is a thing of beauty. It has accurate and amusing descriptions of the many by the glass wines. The bartender pours samples without being asked and always in the proper glass. Entrees vary by day. On our visit we had halibut on julienned vegs and shrimp stuffed with scallops. Tremendous place, great service and that wine list. Will definitely return to Craig and Sally's.
