After reading some of the reviews I, like many others, was skeptical about the Breezes Bahamas. My wife and I are frequent travellers to the Caribbean and we absolutely loved Breezes Bahamas. The food was excellent, the rooms (renovated) were very clean with gorgeous bathrooms, and the entertainment was top notch. Funky D and the summer breeze band were always entertaining.

Spent a week with on all inclusive deal here. Staff could not do enough for you and extremely courteous at all times. They did their best to get to know the names of all guests to make it a more personal experience. Rooms of very good standard. Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner offered excellant choices for all tastes. Italian restaurant did not offer a great choice and food was not of great quality. Cannot say enough about the entertainment staff, absolutely brilliant from start to finish, they orgainised activities from 11am to after midnight every day with activities from live shows to trapeze shows. While there met people arriving that staff were able to say that they had not met them for 1 year or two years, they make everybody feel so at home. Overall it's not just an excellent hotel to go to but an unbelievable island to visit. Given half the chance i would not have come back home I would have stayed there. I had a certain amount of trepidation beofre going out to the Bahamas but can say it is a wonderful country full of genuinely nice people and a wonderful hotel at Superclub Breezes.

I spend a lot of time in hotels around the world; I was never as disappointed as on this trip. The resort was sold to me as all incl. adults only. As it turned out it was 14 and above. The hotel is rated 4 stars, whatever that means. I’d rather give it 0 to -4 stars.

Here are the details:

1st night; party everywhere. The placed us on the second floor, with drunken and stoned teens all around us. I slept maybe 2h; had discussions with security and talked to the front desk the next morning. They didn’t seem to be bothered too much by it since the kids where gone that day. However it looked like a war zone when they left, I actually felt sorry for the cleaning staff.

Yes they have brand new bathrooms, however even new once need cleaning; you can see the mold, mildew and dust growing in every corner. I complained about this every day throughout my stay and nothing changed. For the last to days we didn’t even get shower towels anymore, smaller towels should do the job. After the second day the room was never really cleaned (vacuumed) at all. If you have to walk up to the front desk every day and see no results; that tells me that nobody gives a ..…
And by the way the rooms just have a very bad moldy smell.

The overall impression of the facility is that it had its best time in the 70th, worn out, run down, damage everywhere. Not even talking the overall hygiene in the public areas (bathrooms, dining and pool).

The beach!!!! Well how to say that polite? They started picking up the sea wheat on our last day of the stay. So much about that! Not nice at all!! The whole promised activity thing was scheduled (when it was even available) only on limited hours throughout the day.

The pool on its own was not appealing at all, when was the last time they cleaned it? Damage everywhere. During the first 2 days of our stay they barely picked up the floating dirt, and the oil film on the water kept up your sun screen protection throughout the day once you got out. I looked only once at the hot top, that was enough to gross me out. They had a snack pool restaurant. I wonder what the health inspector says about this. This is a clear case for Gordon Ramsey’s kitchen nightmares, disgusting!

Talking about food; I would call it ok for an all inclusive, however the variation of the menu needs to be desired. We dined only one night in there so called special restaurant. (Reservations are needed at least a week in advance) The foot was better there and the service was nice.

These are just a view things to talk about, if you are 16 and want to party nonstop. This is your place to go. I think I can go on for another page or so. In my case, just stay far away from it.

As for the travel agency that recommended this place, I expect to be compensated for this disaster. I’m used to get what I pay for and in this case I paid way too much.

I had the most amazing vacation of my life. I went for spring break, and although many people have been complaining about unsupervised teenagers, its just part of the experience about going to the Bahamas in April. If you don't want to deal with it, don't go in April. Giselle and Ashley were thoroughly entertaining and I've never met anyone who was as good at their job as those two. They made the experience very personal and made everyone feel at home at Breezes.
