We stayed four nights at the BW Bay View Suites and enjoyed it immensely. You were a short walk away from the action at Atlantis and the beach, but the BW was quiet and relaxing. The rooms were spacious and well-kept. The grounds were full of lush plants and unique sculptures. There are three pools so very rarely was anyone in our pool and it was nice in the evening. You would have sworn there were few other guests, although I overheard that it was almost full. We saved money by eating breakfast and lunch in the room, as restaurants are expensive on Paradise Island. It was less expensive to buy from the hotel store rather than the deli/store nearby. I was surprised by the hidden charge at checkout of $3.75 per person, per day for housekeeping. However, the housekeeping staff was great: fresh flowers in our room every day. The property is enclosed by a wall and there is security at the front 24 hours a day. We will definitely return. Take the Stuart's Cove snorkel trip and take a cab accross the bridge for dinner at the Poop Deck. Have a mango daiquiri for me.

For those who love amenities but not ostantation, a tropical paradise that doesn't remind you of Disney, Bay View Village is a getaway dream. Within short walking distance from beach, fine dining, and some great shopping, this little undiscovered treasure has wonderful rooms, a warm, friendly and competent staff, lush gardens, two great pools, and its the perfect recipe for rest and relaxation.

I took my 22-year-old daughter there for her birthday, and we both fell in love. We'll be back!

Property has a sense of a once-clean and modest place that no longer gets care by owners or staff. The rates are very high for what you currently get. Restaurant expensive and awful, with silent, uncooperative waiters. Rooms stink of smoke and damp (even official no-smoking rooms), and are poorly kept up. Shabby furnishings, awful linens, sloppy cleaning. A group of friends stayed here for a wedding and we will never come back to the Bay View. Probably never to Paradise Island

This was a great place stay. It was away from all the crazy activity and yet within walking distance to it all. We had a quiet one bedroom, kitchen and living room, a private patio and yard. It is not on the water but has 2 nice pools that are very quiet. We loved the walk to town and the Atlantis. Went a couple times on some days. If you want all the excitement plus some quiet time. This is the place. The security was good and I felt safe. I hope to go back next year and stay 2 weeks.
