Just returned from SRBV and this is the place to be if you want to really relax and enjoy some awesome uncrowded beach/pool time.. The room was just what I needed w/a nice ( downstairs ) small kitchen and full size fridge that really came in handy keeping drinks cold with no need to do that mad dash to the ice machine (ya all know what I'm talkin about) Grrrrrr ......theres no loud poolside music/games etc. no night life here, no cheesy touristy stuff... just total tropical relaxation, there is a bar that serves good drinks/food thats open early for breakfast, If you want noise, kids, piped in poolside music then go to the over-priced Atlantis and relax(?) we did a 2 day pass there and sure it was nice but it reminded me of Disney meets Vegas in a tropical setting !?........ The staff @ SRBV were the best , I had some " misplaced luggage" problems and the front desk did all they could to help get it back for me ( Thanks Sharron ! ) ............. In closing, If you want a quiet ,relaxing, tropical, clean and decent priced place to stay SRBV is the place.

“Great vacation spot with baby”

Stayed in rm107 at Sunrise beach Villas for 1 week start of May 2008 with my wife and 11 month old baby.
What a fantastic place - the fact we had a seperate bedroom meant our baby wasn't in with us!!

The pool right outside our door was fabulous - Lara loved the kiddie pool - it was an effort to drag ourselves away to go to the beach but it is well worth the effort (less than 2 mins walk)

Atlantis was less than 5 mins walk away so we had all their restaurants to choose from (would definitley recomment Seafire at the Marina). But we had the peace and quiet that is definitely lacking from Atlantis!

Cannot recommend this accomadation highly enough

“Had a Great time in Paradise”

Sunrise Beach Clubs and Villas

We stayed at the Sunrise Beach Villas 3/13/08-3/19/08 #206. We hired a taxi before we got there based on anothers advise, Taxi #824 Westley Ferguson, really nice guy and very nice cab. It's hit and miss and some don't have A/C or don't use it, and if you aren't use to the heat it can be uncomfortable. His cell is [--], or Hm [--]. He was also less expensive by a couple bucks!
We had a great time at Stuart's Cove snorkeling adventure. (Go early it's calmer) Three stops, 1st really nice reef, 2nd much deeper area not as good as 1st stop and 3rd stop sharks and huge grouper. We did the Aquarium at Atlantis and the Ardastra Zoo, both really good.
We chose Sunrise for the grilling ability, as we both have a problem with eating out every night. Plus, the proximity to Atlantis without the cost, the access to the beach, the pools and the separate living/sleeping areas, as my husband likes to stay up late. What a great choice. We brought alot of staples and stopped at the market on the way in from the Airport. There's a nicer store in town a little past the exit bridge off Paradise. Probably more expensive, but much cleaner and more options. So if you are picky go to this one, if you like hanging with the locals go to the store out by the airport. Westley will know.
Don't come early morning if you can help it, the traffic into Nassua can be backed up for miles and you'll just sit.
If you don’t want to pay $150 for breakfast, skip going to One and Only. If you don’t want to pay $400 for dinner for two w/ Champagne don’t go to the Steak house down by the Harbor at Atlantis. This is one expensive island. We were able to grill Chicken and had rice and salad, I brought tuna and we had that for lunch, I brought bacon and we bought eggs all meat and bread I brought was frozen when I left and still frozen when we unpacked nine hours later. Worked out great for us, we love villa living much more than hotel rooms, there’s more ambiance and feels more like home.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

What a great vacation. Our family vacation was excellent, two kids aged 18 and 16 and both my husband and I had the best time. The villa was perfect we could eat whenever we wanted, we just grabbed some food at the local grocery store and we ate out for supper. This is a place we could come back to year after year. There was something for all of us, we visited the Atlantis however we were always happy to get back to Sunrise. We were so sad the day we had to leave. Thanks Sunrise for an incredible vacation. We are from Canada, so it was exceptional just to see the sun and no snow.

My oh my, (Yes, we live in Seattle!),

What a grand time we had at Sunrise. My parents, husband, 5 yr. old, 2.5 yr. old twins, and myself had the time of our lives. This is the perfect place if you want all the amenities of home ( kitchen, laundry, cable tv?) Enjoy 2 pools, private access to Cabbage Beach, 24 hr. security guards, and friendly, helpful staff.

Atlantis is a 5 minute walk, and grocery stores (expensive, pack a suitcase of non-perishables) are over the bridge into Nassau.

Enjoy!
