!On the western tip of Grand Bahama Island you find Old Bahama Bay - The ultimate getaway for tranquility, relaxation and pampered service! What a perfect location, combined with uncompromised service, beautiful accommodations and all the personal touches you could wish for.........

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the team and taken to our suite, right on the beach! We spent a terrific week enjoying snorkeling, kayaking, riding bikes, taking the hobby cats out, playing back gammon, lounging by the pool, reading in the hammocks, sampling the many fun cocktails at the Straw Bar and being thoroughly spoilt by all the staff – who at every opportunity went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect!

Thanks for such a fantastic vacation!

OBB is beautiful and quiet. We were among the few there - most of the time we had the entire beach and pool to ourselves which was beyond perfect!

The staff were very friendly but not well trained when it came to service. If you are a demanding traveler do not expect much. They are extremely laid back- if you do not have patience then this it not the place for you.

Extremely safe- we had no issues with trying to decide if we were going to sleep with the balcony door open and we were on the second floor.

Food was mediocre- if you are a picky eater or foodie, don't expect the dining to blow you away. The resort needs help in this area.

One great perk was the free wi-fi - got a great signal everywhere.

Overall a wonderful experience- great for families or groups of friends- perfect for small children because it is a bay so the water is calm. Great place to relax and regroup.

Would go back anytime!

This is a wonderful place to visit. The food is great and the activities are many. My husband and I had a great room with a beautiful view. All of the activities are included. We went bike riding. sailing, kayaking and you can snorkle right in front of the hotel and see many wonderful and colorful fish. The people are friendly as well.

It was great the first two days then the power washing and the squeeky bulldozers made their appearance and it was unbearable!!!!!!

The bahamas is like that: of well you saty in a crowdy area like in cancun of well you are ffar from everything. It's the case of old bahamas bay.
The hotel is great but don't exspect a local architecture: it's a nice US hotel. The rooms are great, nice and large, idem for the bathroom. Nothing is missing. The deco are nice, without any fun but nice.
The dinning room: maybe a problem: the hotel promise with his internet website that the "good"restaurant is open the week around: during ou 5 days of stay : never. You have then to stay in 2 sd restaurant like a motel restaurant: not bad,....but no more, and a small list. We say it but without any answer. There's an other restaurant on the beach for the lunch, nice.
The area is beautifull for one side (the other side is under conctruction). The private beach is attractive, the swimming pool (heated not a luxe) is great.
All together: a nice place.....without a special touch, we wait a little bit more for the price , the 5 star's and the area
