Incredible property, staff, and management. A beautiful setting with several options for activities - including doing nothing at all.
A totally eco-friendly resort and mindset, but you would never know it. Set up for adults and supervised teenagers (no young children.) Premier fishing - great place if the other half wants to sit on the beach while you try to live out a fantasy. Snorkeling, sailing, kayaking, hiking the island etc............

My week at Tiamo Resorts is quite possibly the best vacation I have ever taken. This small quaint little paradise location will thrill you with it's beauty and service. Mike and his staff will treat you like royalty in your own island kingdom with leisure, adventure and food prepared by locals that rival's 5 star chefs. If your looking for a week in paradise. Tiamo Resorts is waiting to pamper.

We have been to many "undiscovered" places in the Caribbean (St. John) and Bahamas (Grace Bay, Harbor Island) over the years and, sadly, most have been discovered and ruined to some degree. Ti Amo is a true example of development without destruction. It is a small resort on a beautiful empty beach with calm crystal-clear water.
The staff is dedicated, the setting is intimate and you are sure to meet interesting people.
It's pricey, but I don't know where you could find the equivalent for less.
It's a place of quiet , but you can be adventurous, too. Snorkel, kyak, sail, explore.

We recently returned from our vacation to Tiamo and we are already trying to figure out how soon we can return. Not only is the location breathtaking - the accomodations, the staff, the bonefishing and the food are beyond any possible expectation that you might have for a resort as small and as remote as this one is. You really feel like you're on vacation - the lack of contact with the outside world forced us to downshift and appreciate every second of time that we had together. My husband bonefished his way to some of the largest fish he's ever caught (both on his own walking nearby flats and with one of the resort-recommended guides, Captain Patterson) and we saw some of the most remote areas of the Bahamas just a short kayak paddle from our bungalow. The staff members are incredibly friendly, knoledgeable and fun - Steve, Sandy, John, Eurice, Dirk, Audrey and K - we had a ball with you guys. The food was terrific and while we were initially unsure about the group dining aspect, it soon proved to be one of the best parts of our stay. I also must mention that everyone at Tiamo went to great lengths in order to organize a special Valentine's Day dinner for us - it was amazing and we loved it! I normally don't buy into that holiday, but it was hard not to given the setting and that effort that was put forth!

The beach was gorgeous and the waters are clear, blue and warm. The snorkeling revealed unbelievable sea life and the nature walks were informative and inspirational, as the entire resort prides itself in its conservation methods and its low impact on the fragile ecosystems of the Bahamas.

Who knew that being so responsible could come so easily over a Mount Gay and tonic at the bar or in our bungalow while playing a competitive backgammon match?!?!

We loved it. This is an AMAZING place and if you're looking to get away and reconnect with yourself or your significant other - look no further - you have found paradise.
