Sadly, the current owner has apparently not been paying the electric bill. When we arrived at Customs on Bimini, they said, "Oh, nobody told you?" The power was off and a skeleton crew remains. They sent us down the street to the Seacrest (wonderful place). It appears the Big Game Club is for sale. Hopefully they will find a good buyer. I've stayed there before and it's a wonderful place when properly run.

Cruised over for a weekend with my girl friend to just get away. We had no reservations for a slip but upon arriving the personnel were friendly and got us settled in a slip right under the Tackle Box Restaurant without any headaches and with open arms. The food was great, traditional and not very pricey considering we are far from home. I highly recommend the Coconut French Toast that were made with local Bimini Bread. These are the best French toast I have ever had! We did some diving which was excellent and everyone we met were very friendly. The Marina has new docks and we were able to get on their WiFi Internet service which we used to check the weather and call back home.

Thanks Big Game for a great weekend!

I love Bimini!!!! I stayed at Weech's on my previous trips and was very happy and felt safe there (single female traveling alone). However, for this trip, with my boyfriend, I felt that somethig a little more upscale would be in order. Big Game did not let us down. The people who work at the Big Game were the epitome of professionalism. The service that we received throughout our week there was excellent and all of the staff treated us like they really were glad for us to be there. The resort was kept spotless. This included our room and the grounds. The food at the Tacklebox was fresh, simple and GOOD (there is an upscale dining room, but we liked the Tacklebox-just us). We went out snorkeling and diving with Bimini Undersea and once again we felt welcomed (checkout their website). The Big Game is truly a fine resort and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Bimini. Just one thing,if your idea of a vacation is outrageous shopping and wild nights with "the beautiful people" don't go to Bimini. But if you want to relax and get treated like a beautiful person do go to Bimini.

This is the place to stay on bimini. It is central to everything....the diving, partying, fishing, dining, EVERYTHING! The management is so friendly, and truly cares about your stay.

Don't stay at the Bimini Bay Resort, which is North of Bimini Big game. Bimini Big Game actually cares about preserving the beautiful environment of the Bahamas.

The resort is located on the "bay" side of Bimini, overlooking the shallow water in between North and South Bimini. Sitting at the pool restaurant, you can overlook some beautiful water with beautiful islands in the background.

This is a laid back place, and very nice, but not luxurious. I love it here, because I can relax.

The diving here is awesome, be sure to make diving reservations and reservations for a wild dolphin encounter with Bimini Undersea, which is located at the resort.

The public beach is located right across the street (about a 2 minute walk) from the resort. It is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen.

YOU HAVE TO GO TO BIMINI!!!
